Grammar's kinda iffy, but fight scenes are amazing.

Okay, I know I promised a review, but I apologize for taking so long. Had to write my own stories and I just now am taking the time and consideration of making this after so long. But I hope it’s all worth it.
So for “Starters” (lol bad pun), I just want to say that you surprised me, and in a really good way! I don’t know a lot of Mystery Dungeon stories with this kind of potential, but amongst them, I was VERY pleased with what I was reading. It was taking me 4 days to binge read this whole story, and I wasn’t outing my device down for any other reason those nights. Really, this was very captivating, and you’re flushing out the best for each character/OC that you thought of or asked for. This really is a good story, and I thank you for putting time and effort into making this whole thing up to now.

Before anything else, I just want to point out something. The grammar is decent at least, but like the details, maybe those can buff up just a little. Maybe a little more description in their actions, because some of the actions through the Kramzak Saga has been tedious because they were almost immediately after dialogue.

Now then, the plot itself has me the most intrigued, and something that continues to wrap my head in circles. In my personal opinion, I felt that the progression was sudden, and a bit too quick in most cases. The promotion to the Western Desert, to immediately kidnapped into Samurott Tribe were all sudden. Personally, I would take a couple chapters to you know, slow it down a bit beforehand, show progression in dungeons and show them working through the rankings and what not. I wouldn’t mind if I saw them recruit Pokémon from actual dungeons like they did in the games. I always was enthused when something I like comes aboard, like the Grimer from Waterfall Cave in Explorers of Time. At any rate, you get the idea. But that’s just what I think. All these dungeons in terms of gaming would sound adhesively tough, and some twists were pretty dark.
But aside from those flaws, I loved how you pulled out a number of twists that made me want to read a lot more. The characters were all progressing at a steady rate and at a pace that I followed. It’s a keen development with the realization of Dew and Morgan’s parents, and the relics that they are all trying to scrounge for. That was a major milestone for how I see it, and I liked it a lot. The dark Latios is still something to behold, and the shiny Riolu and the associate is seeming like a major plot twist that is still unfolding. Exactly what is going on?

Now onto the 5 main characters, we have so many. Personally, I also like to keep the limit to 4 due to Mystery Dungeon concept, but again that’s just me. Let’s start with Dew, the Dewott. So, he seems to be the de facto leader of Team Ivory, and the apparent brawn and everything that everyone looks to as a gathering point. He and Morgan were both horribly mistreated by a horrendous Trainer and a Gliscor that they eventually dealt with in this story, and since then they’ve been trying to go about ways around focus. He appears to be the most understanding, if not most compatible in a situation if anything goes wrong.
Morgan is the Meowth, and Dew’s younger sister. She is very protective of Dew and is very hot-headed in situations that rattle her. She worries a lot about Dew and for others’ well-being and does her best to ensure security.
Mystic, the Shiny Zorua, is another main member to the team, and is almost like Morgan, if not a little more on the reserved side. She uses her powers to help disguise herself, and uses trickery to get around places and matters not easily solved. She has feelings for Dew, of which he reciprocated by this latest chapter. I like her Incinerate attack as well, especially since it helps with enemy berries being useless.
Jesse, the Riolu, is one of the more outgoing ones, and yet he is quick to accuse and get into scuffs. When he met Swift, he didn’t trust him to where he would attack him, and I think amongst the members of Ivory, I feel it’s Jesse who needs to take a chill pill and learn empathy.
Lastly, we have Static, the Pikachu. He has a typist mother who I hate very much, and a Pichu brother, and Shock, his father, and he tries his best to learn and work hard for the team, even though he is reckless, even more so than Jesse. However, he learns Volt Tackle, and as such he shows improvements for the team and everyone else’ sake.

You’ve also added a lot minor and supportive characters that I can list and detail. Team Shadow, Giovanni, Swift, Team Typhoon, Team Autumn, Aqua, Arrow; all these characters who are either good or evil we can empathize with, because you gave them situations and predicaments that we can understand and otherwise picture. I still hate Static’s mom, even if her past justifies her selfishness and reasoning. But in congrats, my favorite out of all the supportive/minor characters is…Tyson the Scraggy. He is so funny, and the time when he goes and naps while running is plain hilarious XD

For the way you try to add Team Autumn around the ordeal is something else that I like. That dungeon that was Seaside Cave, I imagined Beach Cave for some reason. You’d think it’s a small dungeon, and I thought it was, and Team Shadow trying to score brownie points and failing like Team Skull is clear they aren’t making much cut.

Speaking of Team Skull, the way you are executing them is something that intrigues me. The way you made them antagonists, to minor antagonists is something like Impmon from the Digimon series. After getting pounded and not learning from mistakes, I feel they need to understand and get a message through.

The current ordeal is something that also intrigues me, yet makes me wonder how they’re gonna get out of the situation. A political marriage and forcing Dew to marry is something I’d scoff at. I feel Aqua and Swift are going to do something to stop this and take down the head Samurott, I mean I wish that were the case because nobody forces someone they shouldn’t be emotionally ready for.

But through it all, I really do enjoy and favor this fanfic a lot. I am very pleased with all these characters and this plot that you have going on. Sure maybe it’s a little rushed with no breaks in between, but the whole ordeal of the past with Gliscor to the parents is a great shift in dynamics. The Ninetales guild with its members pitching in are all something that I found captivating, with Typhoon and Brody’s teams all helping in the desert in the saga. The Latios ordeal itself is steadily boiling up, and I hope Jesse does well and is in better composition by the time that shiny Riolu comes to kill him. For dynamics, I am liking how it’s all going, and yet I just wish the chapters were a little longer so I can enjoy them. Hope that comes soon!

Well no matter how long the update’s wait, I’ll be sure to stay as patient as I can and wait for the next plot twist! Thanks for giving a Mystery Dungeon story that I can enjoy! :)

Sorry about that, he just got really excited when he heard what had happened (even though technically in the story no one except for Marine knows.) anyways, awesome chapter, after that news about you changing the rating to M, I really thought that Dew was going to end the bird team.

That was a close one. Honestly I don't know how I would've felt if he did do it. Funny how Mystic decided to join Marine an Dew, what better way to cut the conversation than to pinch someone's tail.

Wow, this must e the best chapter ever! Suchucj character development! Epic battle scene, I'm still shocked that we learned Jesse's past! And man, that ending, blew me away. I must say this was the ultimate chapter ever!

...I know it's late, but it's still April, so...April fools...Okay, now time for the actually review.

I do agree, changing the ratings will give you lots of options instead of being restricted. When it comes to gore and violence, that's not a problem for me and I'm not really bothered by language. But if it has to do with suggestive scenes, well I'd be okay with it. I look forward to the upcoming chapter and to seeing some of the new changes that you will bring.

Firstly, not a bad start. Maybe I'm late saying this, but here's a grammar tip. When writing 'said' or 'asked' etc after speech, do not capitalize the word.

Ex: ["Come on!" Said Jesse."] This should be [ "Come on!" said Jesse.]

Also, I'm a but confused in the A/N, it may be unrelated, but whatever. You say, 'Hello everybody, this is GreatFlash and I'm presenting my third fic, Explorers of Truth.' Is that a beta, or is it you? Maybe you should work on eliminating ambiguity?

Glad to see that little reunion went smoothly, Static's little typist comment sure surprised me. As well as the intruders. And awesome that we now find out what Mystic's special treasure means (nice foreshadowing).

Well now things keep getting more interesting by the chapter, looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Anyways, the chapter was great, I love Static's comments. And everyone coming in when Marine and Dew were..,You know. It was priceless.

And the team is born, funny how Team ivory met team destruct. Just a heads up, since I'm re reading this, I'm not going to review for each chapter, and I won't know how long each review will be, but I'll definetly leave a review. Especially if the chapter mentions any relics.

So technically I reviewed as Travelling Master, but since I'm using a ew account, might as well leave a review. Man I forgot how scary Morgan can be when she is pissed. Looking forward to re reading this story. I'll also keep an eye out for any mention of the relics.
