I know this fic is old and hasn’t been uploaded for years but I just wanted to review anyway.
It’s just getting very hard to read when everything interesting that’s happening is only being explained by someone else who was there, specifically Gaius, instead of the actual scene being written. Also the way it’s explained is not how people speak when relaying a situation, rather more like a book with too much detail in description and the ability to remember every little thing someone said earlier. I’m skipping over most of it as it does go on just to get to parts where Merlin is talking to anyone else besides Gaius. Just thought to put this in for helpful criticism.

Hello! New reader here! A bit of a shallow one too because I can't help but wonder "who's on top?" But I do appreciate the length of the story. So here's to another chapter!

Another good chapter. Merlin has his work cut out for him. Your having Gaius as a little short-tempered with the knights and even Merlin was great. I'm enjoying the story. Now to figure out exactly hope much of Modred's magic, Arthur will remember.

Awwwwww... I love the ring part... It was the most beautiful thing I have ever read! Seriously... If Merlin's magic reacts to Arthur giving him a gift, I can't imagine what is going to happen when they're in bed together! But maybe I'm just sick and perverted... Oh WELL! XD

The story, in my opinion was okay...though the way Gwen was added in it drew me away very quickly, making it seem more like a Gwen/Arthur fic. Not my type of story...but it's a good one.

I am really uptight since finishing this chapter, various sections of it keep replaying in my mind.
I liked how you put Modred in his place and then repeated the same action as Gaius read the riot act to Merlin. Poor Gaius, he's an elderly gentleman and these two are going to send him to an early grave!
You really get inside your characters' heads. A really intense chapter, well worth the read...

Good good good. This was good. Uther plodded me of to no end but I guess that's to be expected. Can't wait for Arthur to be out and about again.

I will be sitting here pulling my hair out until i find out how this ends!

My word! That has got to be one of themost heart-wrenching things I've ever read on this site. Just the image of it all.. Reminds me of a Buffy TV episode, if you know about that. Though this was a bit more dire. This was just...wow. Well I read up to 17 buthad to come back to review this. It was incredibly sad, but I'm glad everything turned out all right. Like I knew they would.

...For now. Great work with this fic, really. You deserve more attention than you've received. Thanks for continuing, regardless. I hope your next update will come soon.

What? Only 17 reviews? That cant be right. Your writing is excellent and I am more than curious about how Merthur will come into existence. And Gwen pisses me off, not only in this fic, the show too.
