Honestly, the only way I could see Talli revealing himself is if Spain slipped up and accidentally called him “Talli”. Like, can you imagine. Everyone would freeze and jus turn and stare, because
“Wasn’t that what Alfred was demanding his name was? How does Spain know that?”
“Uncle?”
“Brother?”
“If that’s Talli... Where’s Atka?”
“Does that make Matthew Atka?”
“So that’s the name I couldn’t remember...”

I love this. I wrote a story where Alfred is Native America also, but I feel that the history here is better used then in my story. Would you mind telling me what websites/books you used to find this information?

This is, like, absolutely amazing and stunning. The amount of detail and research that went into this is phenomenal and obvious from the first chapter, giving an incredible depth to quite a short but amazing story. I'm rarely enthralled by stories this short, especially with the open ending. And actually, I think that I like that there isn't a scene where Alfred reveals himself as Talli, because he says in Chapter Two that he's not going to reveal himself until someone asks, and I don't think that anyone is really up to asking. Therefore, it's never going to happen. Maybe.

I especially love that we get to read two characters that are not usually associated seriously with the North American bros: Spain and China. That was quite a nice touch, especially since you included the theory of the Native Americans crossing over from Asia, thereby making Alfred and Mattie his siblings or half-siblings (I'm sorry, I can't remember which at the moment). But yeah, your family tree was phenomenal. And the fact that Alfred and Matthew would technically be Ancients, haha! That was icing on the cake. And did they seriously kill the Roman Empire? Now we know why he died. XD (Or did he come right back to life and then return to Rome?)

But, seriously, this just made my day. Like, I have two sets of favorites, and this is making it into both. My FF favorite list and my computer favorite list, where I copy out my favorite-favorites and save them in a Word doc on my hard-drive for reading at leisure and moment's notice. Congrats.

I may have to take up that challenge, because that's really intriguing. Although the first usage might be in an existing crossover, but if you'll allow me, it might help some plot issues that I've been trying to solve, or at least add some more tension. Hm.

Thank you for an extremely lovely read. It's made facing my thesis a lot easier. I do hope that you'll consider writing more at some point in the future, whether it's for this site, on this story, or elsewhere.

This chapter makes me sad, in a way. Because the story you have in your head is so complex, and yet so little of it is written, and because I can understand, if even a bit, what your ideas and plans are. I can see a glimpse of your imagination and your POV through your writings. Alas, your research is so much deeper than what I could achieve, but I will think about a way to prompt a continuation for this on the Kink Meme, should any of the brilliant readers roaming there be interested in continuing this.
My only plea, if I have the right to voice it, is ,whenever you hear about a continuation for this, to eventually add the link of that continuation somewhere here. Maybe put a new chapter, or add an AN in this one where you add the links. Just, please share them with us. I'd love to read the ideas of any potential writers and give them feedback, maybe help them.

Awesome story! Obviously well thought out. Only question I have is if you'll continue it. There was a lot of hints about Talli/Alfred revealing himself to the other nations, but the story's marked 'complete'. Just wondering. Still a great fic.

So years have passed, and I still come to this story when I feel in need of a good fanfic. Because this made it into my top 5 best Hetalia fanfics. In existence. It's so overwhelming, the feelings that you convey so well with so few words.
I still hope for a sequel, tho.
