I loved this story so much. Your writing is incredible and I’ve read a ton of Eclare from you. I hope you get around to uploading the epilogue! Closure would be nice

I've spent entire too much time today going through this entire thing, but I am here, I made it to the end. This was incredibly easy to fall into and I thoroughly enjoyed the journey into Clare's head through all the ups and downs you put her through. I think you managed to stay so true to this characters while detailing them as adults, and loved it all.

“Maybe it was meant to be how it happened. Maybe we needed to be older and have more life experience under our belt. Maybe we needed the heartbreak and the exes and the struggle. Maybe we needed to find a reason to make things work between us.” - This is so beautiful and my favourite passage in this whole story, and it's so true.

In my quarantine boredom I decided to give a try to this old gem. I'm really loving it so far, despite not being the greatest EClare shipper myself. You're setting up the scene so well in these first few chapters, from Darcy's death as a propeller to complicated feelings, to everything else. I'm really liking your adult version of Clare. I always found her a little too uptight on the series, so I'm glad you made her loosen up a little, while retaining the most Clare qualities that make her, well... her. Workaholic Clare with nothing in the fridge but Diet Coke is definitely a mood.
Especially this chapter was really great, you managed to lay out all so many details of necessary background without it ever feeling forced. It just flew naturally as a conversation between the two of them. It's so realistic that when meeting someone from back in the days that you haven't seen in a while you end up talking about all the people you used to know - whether or not you've kept in touch.
I'm loving this so far, can't wait to continue reading :)

Hi Musiksnob- when I (very coincidentally) saw you posted a chapter update, I decided to start reading this fic from the beginning again (despite not having watched degrassi since season 13 went downhill). With this piece, you have done more than write something that is well thought-out, purposeful, enjoyable to read, and transportive. You have brought meaning back to characters and a show I once loved. I feel lucky to have gotten to read so many of your incredible stories through some of my really formative years. For me, back in the fandom days, you were a huge part of my experience of Degrassi. And now, even after completely losing touch with the show, I have been thrown right back into all the emotions I used to have about it from reading this story. I hope you have continued to write because you truly are so talented.

I stopped watching Degrassi pretty much the same time that Drake dropped the Aubrey and the wheelchair. I recently spent two weeks binge watching the entire next generation series on YouTube and no relationship spoke to me more than Eclare. I couldn't accept that their story was over so I turned to the wonderful world of fanfiction to get me through.

This was the very first fic I read. I almost regret having read this first but I mean this in the best of ways. You set the bar SO HIGH! This story is brilliant! I could hear their voices in every aspect of the dialogue. You captured their essence. This is a story I know I'll reread when I need a good Eclare fix. Thank you!

So glad that you came back to this story. I first read this last year and spent most of last year hoping that you would update, but when nothing changed, I kinda gave up. Then, today, I found myself watching a video on YouTube about Eli and Clare's relationship and it made me want to look up FanFiction to read and I saw that you had updated. Yours is one of the best stories in this section.

I was happy to see you updated but I'm sad that the story is almost over! Beautiful writing as always. hey I don't know if you've ever heard of Riverdale but it totally reminds me of Degrassi in a way, mixed with a couple other shows but there's this one ship called bughead. Bughead reminds me of eclare, but better. You might like them and if you like them maybe you can write some fanfiction for them hint hint LOL. but anywho I'm probably the older person reading your stories, I'm 28. Haha. I love your writing, you have a gift.

Aww thanks for updating! I was late to start reading your story but it's my fav Eclare story so I'm happy it's getting finished. Happy to see that these two have decided to be together and cleared up all the misunderstandings. Love how Clare immediately decided to move in lol but I know that's how these two would roll. Looking forward to the epilogue! Haven't watched the latest Netflix season but planning on it soon. I'm not super addicted but the next class has grown on me a lot.
