Thanks for the read a bit sad
Hayseed Socrates chapter 1 . 10/16/2012
Well done - I enjoyed it very much. You wrote Jane well.
LetMeWalkTheEarthWithYou chapter 1 . 10/12/2012
That was really, really good.
tromana chapter 1 . 10/11/2012
Ooh this is a wonderful extrapolation of the season finale. It adds depth and scope to what's there and you show such an intriguing insight into the characters and their motives - especially Jane, who is a notoriously difficult character to get a handle on. Such a beautiful style in this piece too. Lovely!

I didn't find this at all over-laden with the original dialogue; rather, I thought your story nicely supplemented it, just as Universal Muse implores for a very nice little tag. Thanks!
Idan chapter 1 . 9/14/2012
I really enjoyed this, and for some reason this line cracked me up (in a good way): (No one ever said fake-murdering people in the heart of law-enforcement territory was for the faint of heart.)
Rosepeony chapter 1 . 9/14/2012
Beautifully written. Thankyou
Lothiriel84 chapter 1 . 9/14/2012
This is just brilliant, and awesome, and... just wow!
Love the way you manage to convey what goes on in Jane's mind - especially certain references to past episodes.
I'm going to quote some of my favorite parts (but each and every sentence is quite stunning, I have to say - especially the ending!)

(No one ever said fake-murdering people in the heart of law-enforcement territory was for the faint of heart.)

Unlike the Odysseuses of this world, however, Jane doesn't need wax to stop his ears against her siren song; all he needs is the ring on his finger and the woman in front of him.

(He's a con artist, he's always led a double life. Now his heart belongs to two women; in a twisted way, it makes sense. It's at once more and nothing less than he deserves, but life has always been puzzling that way.
Two separate women possess his heart, a third (most recently) has possessed his body, while a man – if the serial killer can indeed be called a man – is in possession of his mind. It is, he allows, a most strange ménage-a-quatre. Hmm… actually that would be a ménage-a-cinq, since he's part of it.
No wonder he sometimes feels as though he has a multiple-personality disorder.)

Really great tag. I liked it :)
wimmer511 chapter 1 . 9/13/2012
Nice. I really liked the part where he says that he doesn't need wax, just the ring on his finger and the woman in front of him. That was cute.
chibinoyume chapter 1 . 9/13/2012
Mobile ffnet doesn't show if a fic is complete or not.. And in this case, I hope not! I really enjoyed reading it :) you have a particular writing style that's very entertaining to read, and together with the aspects of the finale you decided to approach, made for a very nice read.

I loved the bit where he said who owned his heart, then his body, his mind. Very original (and true).

Hope to read more from you soon! (Especially if it is J/L :D)
SttarGazer chapter 1 . 9/13/2012
This was good! I liked it!

I really like this one too (you can keep writing post-season-four-finale fics all you want). I especially liked the image at the end of the menage-a-cinq. And I'm glad you brought up Jane's wife. One of the reasons I've been (rabidly) anti-Jane/Lisbon shipping is because I feel like it lessens the impact of Jane's motivations to avenge his wife and daughter (both of whom, despite being motivations, are strangely absent in the show. I keep hoping they'll do more flashbacks or something with them). Anyway, brilliant, as always. :-D
