kineret chapter 43 . 12/17/2015 Beautiful... I loved your story. Good job :) |
PurplePhoenixx chapter 43 . 11/10/2015 I really loved you story. it was very well written and attention grabbing. it wasn't what I expected and I think that's why I loved it so much! only one thing I wanted to say, and that wizards become adult at 17, not 18. other then that, it was exelent! |
PurpleElm23723 chapter 43 . 8/16/2015 This story made me laugh, cry, scream, giggle and wail! I loved it and will recommend this story to ALL of my friends! I absolutely LOVED this! I got goosebumps reading this last chapter and that is something I have NEVER experienced while reading something, not even the original books! You my friend have AMAZING talent and I cannot wait to read more of your work! Keep on writing, for you have a way with words! Much love and many interweb hugs! -V :) |
Petal Cranberry chapter 15 . 1/4/2015 I was going to write a review after finishing my reading. But I feell it too urgent to share my impression. The story is so intense! As dangerous as a good thriller movie! |
Jhessbear chapter 43 . 7/26/2014 I very much enjoyed this journey, even though i was not with it from the start of it. I will be excited to read your further stories though, as you have proved to be an excellent writer! |
EvansGinnLilu chapter 43 . 1/21/2013 I'm mesmerized. I read the very first chapter, and I stopped, saying: "Oh, Harry again" But then I reminded myself, it says Ginny/Remus, it must be, all I have to say it's: It became THE fic. Seriously, it is. I got quite a lot of favorites, yeah, but only few have that title. Non-Harry/Ginny lol except maybe the true cannon storyline hehe. I like reading because I love to picture everything in my mind, that's what encouraged me to read fanfic, and find people like me since I'm a bit socially awkward haha, but this storyline, your plot, it's simply another thing. I've read the whole story in less than five days, on A school week! That's says a lot! I loved it, and when I had to sleep, I would be like: "OMG... What'll happen next?" I hated the cliff hangers, but loved pretty much everything else, yet again, what's a good story without them? I fell madly in love with it. I won't deny I cried a lot, the villain was worst that the bloody devil himself, even worst than Tom Riddle, and Remus's thoughts of hopeless, and Molly waiting watching the clock. I cried almost as much as I did on the real series. But it was freaking worth it. I cried more in the end, that epilogue CRUSHED my heart, and brain. I've always had a thing for weird legends, but this one made it! I dreamed on it for weeks, and was unable to review because I wanted more, but I knew I couldn't handle writting a good one and knowing that truly it all ended. Hope you take the message: write more! I also laugh a lot, Remus was a marauders after all! I have a lot of mental pictures I would love to draw, but my graphic tablet went of. I loved the chapter when Ginny uses her full power and practically turns to nothing because of her thermal state for the phoenixes. I imagine it perfectly. Her essence would be every colour, and the pheonixes would be flying everywhere within her. She would fill the arena. And Moony sitting with his head upwards, howling, knowing his Ginny was there. I'll have to Waite I guess :) Again, ! »» Ps. Write more soon! |
AJRoald chapter 28 . 12/19/2012 Ginny as if she was a warrior goddess - I have to admit when I first read this, the vision of Ginny looking much like Xena came to mind. I do like this shift in his perception of her. Remus trying to look back to figure out if there were any tells of how he would feel about her - Even as short of an explanation as this is, I feel that there is a necessity to it. No, Remus is not a sick man who longs after little girls, but they have gone through a great ordeal together which causes them to look at each other differently. Your attention to details in astounding - such as Remus needing to take a trip 'behind the bushes'. While this is true to life, many leave this out of writing. Kudo's to you for not. I also like the use of tottered :) - good word. Ah - do I detect hints of Moody/Tonks? I like how you write them as a couple. 'inferno of hell had come and consumed it all' - accurate description, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned 'This was not a clean and pretty love with easy explanations. This was messy and dirty and complicated.' - yes it is, and its not going to come easily for others to accept. But then again, they always say, nothing in life is easy. Bill should have listened to his wife! But if he had, they wouldn't know any more details... 'they had become quite nocturnal' - I actually never really picked up on this, good point. 'heroines from the trashy romance stories would want their heroes to say' - I think this is what every woman wants to hear at some point, even in our wildest dreams :D. Like the metaphor :D It's interesting that Remus still see's in black/white/greys (except for Ginny) while shape shifted...hadn't given that much consideration. |
AJRoald chapter 27 . 12/18/2012 Yay! I get to read again! Still love this story so much, and I probably haven't thanked you properly for finishing it - so THANK YOU SO MUCH! On with the review - 'While everything seemed fantastical, he had a sense of knowing it wasn't' - this always seems to be true to Remus's personality and like how you remind us here - in this fantastical place that could so easily sweep some away. 'His face was handsome in the way it should have been had he not spent most of his adult life in Azkaban. He no longer had the haunted shadows of a broken spirit. He looked complete.' - I love the character of Sirius in such a different way than Remus. I love this description of him, how he should have been, how Remus see's him now. *fan girl gush* The scene between Remus and Sirius is nothing shy of genius. Sirius trying to get Remus to understand that he is there with him, that Ginny loves him and that he will lead a good and happy life... If I cut out all the parts that I really like and commented on them individually, I'd write my own chapter :D. 'that phoenix of a girl', 'Love doesn't die just because we do', and 'She loves you enough to bring you back, and I love you enough to make you go'- were my favorite lines of that scene...you seemed to be in a Sirius groove this night :) Hahaha...Sirius heartily approves of what Ginny has done to Moss Manor :D Quite clever to work in the Lovegood's and the Quibbler... I also like your use of Kingsley - think he is a completely underrated character. Not to mention Mr. Weasley - sometimes it feels as though people write him off as being not so clever or smart. "Because I couldn't name our children without you," - no, no she couldn't have. |
xoRetributionox chapter 43 . 12/5/2012 Wow, what am epilogue! I am glad they were finally able to get married, though I am saddemed for all they had to face. Perhaps I should have expected it though, for things wouldn't be magically better after Voldemort's defeat. Poor Harry, dying, though at least he did truly defeat Voldemort. SIX children? Holy cow! Lol. I am very happy that after the troubles at first, they finally ended up with six beautiful children. They had great lives as well, it seems. I was saddened by the losses of Gabriel and Wolfgang's first wife and child. They made it through all of that, and the Werewolf War too. I am so proud of all of them. |
heffronma4 chapter 43 . 12/5/2012 Excellent finish to a great story! I look forward to reading more of your stories. -Mark A Heffron ( Plymouth, UK ) |
xoRetributionox chapter 42 . 12/4/2012 Awesome chapter! I absolutely love that Ginny is going to go work with dragons for the summer. Rather like the phoenixes, it's perfect for her and her special skills. I'm also glad that things are going so well for her and Remus. They deserve it after their ordeal. |
xoRetributionox chapter 41 . 12/3/2012 Great chapter! I am glad Ginny found a way to be with Remus on the full moon. I also must admit I didn't see Harry and Draco coming, but I'm glad they have an...outlet LOL. |
xoRetributionox chapter 40 . 12/3/2012 I hope you had a very good weekend :). Lovely two chapters! Yay for handfastings! I was not expecting that yet, but it does fit and seem right. I don't blame them for not telling her parents though! Hahaha. I also thought the title of Chapter 39 really fit, which I'm sure is why you chose it-that and the painting tie in. I am glad her parents are accepting of their engagement, and I so wanted to give Remus a hug when Ginny found Rowan's brick. Finally, I love dhearing about Ginny's fire demonstrations. |
xoRetributionox chapter 38 . 11/30/2012 Great chapter! I'm glad Molly is at least trying to be understanding and, just maybe, a bit accepting, of Ginny and Remus. She gave Ginny some very good advice too. Also, I hope Harry realises Remus wasn't lying about still caring for him and planning to stay in his life. Remus would be great for him. |
xoRetributionox chapter 37 . 11/29/2012 Aww, thanks for the shoutout *blush* Great chapter! I LOVED the description of the birth of the phoenixes so much. I am quite glad that Ginny had the faith in herself and the courage to go into the energy state so that the Phoenixes could be born. I am also very glad that Remus was there to realize she was alive, not dead, and to bring her back. The whole thing was a work of art. |
