I have to admit that I'm a teeny bit disappointed, the end of this story feels rushed and very unresolved. It feels like there is so much story left to tell between these two, and you've been revealing in such an intriguing and completely enchanting manner. But I also know that you've been beat-up a bit lately by those who don't understand the format and presentation of your story - and so I understand that perhaps you were ready to be done with the whole thing, once and for all. I've been there and felt that way, so I'm totally onboard with that. I can only hope that those few nay-sayers here on FFnet do not discourage from posting your stories here for us to read. I do enjoy your style and I've not read anything here or over on LJ that I've not enjoyed.

I know that I've said this more than once but it bears repeating - don't ever be discouraged or wonder whether or not your stories have an impact on people - YOU are the reason that I ended up writing my "Ringtones" stories, and I'm still getting the occasional review and/or request for more of those! Thank you for sharing your immense talent with us!

Perfect ending is perfect. I wouldn't mind reading the occasional one-shot (or a longer story) showing how they'll be doing in the future.
But it's a lovely place you are leaving them in. Thank you for this story!

You're cruel for having played with me like that ;) I like the way you described the development of Elsie's and Becky's relationship and that Elsie is at least considering making her peace with her sister.

And of course I love (!) that she has finally decided to move forward with Charles - and not just as business partnership.

This was such a delight! I really enjoyed their progress and your wonderful writing style.

I love that "her expression promised all sorts of things that made a shiver run the full length of his spine"! And she is already mentioning their wedding as a given! No proposals necessary because of course they both want to get married! I'm so happy they finally found each other, and agreed on not only a business deal, but also marriage! Yaaaay!

Yaaaaaaaaay! I'm so glad Elsie was brave enough to actually sit on Charles' lap and say she didn't want a *business* partnership with him. And I love Charles' shocked face when she moves to him. So adorable!

Never apologize for posting chapters! Never ever! Especially when it is as perfect an ending as this one. I loved that throughout Charles was never quite sure what to think, but carried on doing whatever he could. And Elsie really made everything right, thank you for that. :). Have a great holiday!

Oh FINALLY omg - this story. I really like this a lot. I think the tiny snippets are actually perfect, and it would be very like me to complain about that, but I enjoy filling in the bits and pieces myself. It's so easy to do because you craft the major bits in a few brief passages. (I do not possess this skill, obviously, and wish I did!)
