Omgoodness! Absolutely amazing, I love how you managed to make Lucius so completely at rock bottom that even the completely uncharacteristic emotional display seems perfectly within character. I have seen a story like this before and I'm pretty sure anyone will find it extremely difficult to live up to the high bar you have set. Congratulations.

I love the stories where Lucius is repentent. Based on his actions in HPDH, I think he would be. Thank you for this emotional look at Lucius.

In Lucius' defence, my dad wasn't there when I was born. XD I think he’s a bit deluded about the Dark Lord stuff, though. Also, Healer Hale is a realistically shitty shrink, in my opinion. She seems judgemental and unhelpful. I totally guessed Draco was in the room, haha. I’m glad I was right.

Anyway, I like it. I love Lucius loving Draco, and even though he wasn’t the best father here, you still made him out to genuinely care for Draco, in his own way. 3

This was such a lovely read! I love how you explored the broken relationship between Lucius and Draco, and even though it at first seems slightly OOC for Lucius to be so open about his feelings (even with a therapist), it makes sense as the story continues because of his wanting to rebuild his relationship with his son. Overall, this was a lovely fic - thanks for sharing!

This was a very touching story. Although I do feel that it may have been slightly out of character for Lucius to be quite so open, my suspension of disbelief and my own personal wanting for Lucius as a character to feel badly about what his family was put through because of his allegiance allows me to appreciate this story for what it was. I thought it was well done and a great demonstration of love.

This was very touching and if I take it on it's face an enjoyable read. The problem is when a protagonist is cast that is an extemely unlikable character. Can people change? Yes. I don't however believe that the Lucius and Draco we see in the books are two of those people. People don't just go from being a sociopath, and make no mistake the Lucius of the books is a classical sociopath in the absolute sense, to being a loving forgiving person.

Like I said when you take the story on it's face and forget who it's supposed to be about then it is enjoyable.

Gawd, I love this! I've discovered that I have a weakness for Parent/Child fics and this was fabulously done. I like how you truly show Lucius's struggle between trying to be a good father and trying to be a good Death Eater. It's very well done and I absolutely adored it. I feel like I had a nit-picky grammatical error to point out, but I was overwhelmed by the awesomeness and forgot :)

This was such a sad story

I thought this was very entertaining :) It explored a relatinship that we don't know much about and highlighted it in a new way; we always knew that the Malfoy's cared about their son, but it's still interesting to see how they came to such understandings despite everything they've been through. There were some run on sentences, or sentences cut off abruptly but it was such an enjoyable read!
