Aw, waiting was so worth it. (And well, I already told you how much the new chapter meant to me).

Yuui's little crush and all that blushing at the sight of Syaoron's chest is so adorable. And Ioryogi can be such a troll! (Though I know that he may be complaining now, but I think he will soon grow very fond of Yuui as well because he has a soft spot for kind and gentle people.)
So... still not much information on what it is that Syaoron does safe for that it makes him exhausted and that in turn scares Yuui a lot.
And yay, they are going on a (not) date!
Syaoron is... most of the time I just want to hug him and promise him things are going to get better with Yuui at his side although I cannot know that. But it's lovely to see that he can have his moments when he just can laugh and be careless and not have to play an act. (I just found Fai's reaction a bit fast, I must confess, like he and Syaoron just met and Syaoron had hardly done anything but laughing and Fai makes the remark that he's a keeper, while I was expecting him to, you know, interrogate Yuui about very private things and intimidate Syaoron and telling him not to mess with Fai's baby brother. But I will stop being picky, right now.)

And oh, oh... you can't outsmart Yuui.
Also, I'm looking forward to Yuui finding out that his stuffed animal is alive. (Did he ever sleep with Ioryogi cuddled up in his arms? Did he?)

I loved the part in the morning. I mean, Syaoron was all cheery and friendly and just wanted to say Good morning and Yuui's "Fuck off" made me laugh so hard. He needs one of these t-shirts with "INSERT COFFEE HERE" and an arrow upwards printed on them. It could be his sleeping shirt!
Honestly, I was so ridiculously happy when I saw there was a new chapter even though I don't get most of the stuff that's happening. (Syaoron, do you always shower together with spirits? Did that spirit inappropriate things to you? Are you an exorcist? Why can't you shower with Yuui instead? And how does Ioryogi fit into the picture - which is a lovely pun, because this fic is called still life...)
And aw, the twins were so cute together, but was there a bit of one sided YuuiFai in it or was it just my imagination running wild?
Also, these three spirits are trolls, I wonder if they got that from their master...
And I bet Yuuko and Watanuki have something to do with the whole thing as well. Argh, I want to know what's going on. I want moar of that cuteness. And I want to know what happened to Syaoron in the past because I got the feeling that his heart had been broken at some point.
