Man do I love what you have Rick say because I'm like that too. A lot of my favorite stories, fanfic or published, don't end with the getting together part or at the least have sequels about making an actual relationship, not just a heady kiss or 'I love you' and fade to black. Or even have the 'romance' part be firmly B plot and not the focus of the story. One of my absolute favorite authors on this site, In The House, has a series in the House fandom like that, where House got together with another character by the end of the 2nd story... and there are over ten stories in that series now.

This story is a gem! I only found it because you wrapped To the Void. I am so huge fan of yours now, these stories are delicious! And this one, is for sure an all time favorite. So much goodness

Not bad!

I was looking to read a random Castle story today, clicked into several fics by various writers, then clicked back out. I finally came upon this one, and I was engrossed within the first few sentences. I just had to read it straight through.

This was such a great story. I loved how you used the first person, which I think can be a really tricky from the Beckett POV, and you pulled it off with aplomb. There were many points at which I had to stop and go back to reread passages, because they were just beautifully written. The story itself is offbeat and different, and you took me on a journey with Beckett and her thoughts and emotions.

So well done. Thank you for the reading pleasure.

If this is the end of the book, reread what you said about people finally getting together but then that's the end of the book or the story. This can't be the end of the story.

Thank you for such a beautiful story. I came looking for come sexy times and time travel, and I got much more than I bargained for. I love all your insight into these characters I love so much. And I'm so glad you made them talk about things they never did in the show. Things that should've been voiced. I loved the story, the time-travelish theories and the philosophy behind everything.

I agree about the love story being in the middle, not the end. And I guess Marlowe and Co. gave us the same gift that you just gave me with your story. Caskett can only make everything better, together. It wouldn't be the same if they were still apart. It wouldn't make any sense at all. And you nailed it.

I can't express my absolute love for your story. I really enjoyed it start to finish. It felt like watching the show, and that's what great fanfic is made of.

I still think Castle's lie was awful too. Thinking someone could kill you anytime for a year whereas your partner and friend knows you are safe ...

Oh man I was afraid there for a little while that this was going to end without them together but I should have trusted you. I love this ending/beginning. So happy to see them moving toward their future together and that detail with Montgomery's information was so clever. Very well done.

Oh man the heartache just keeps on coming! I'm hoping she can finally find the words to tell him what she's thinking before it's too late. I love how this story has played out.
