Rukia is adorable when she is little! I wish Kubo would have shown more about her childhood in the Rukongai, I would so love to read how Rukia was able to survive so long by herself without the help of others before she met Renji. But an awesome fanfic I read awhile ago has made me have a head cannon that someone was looking out for her when she was a baby.

Going back to the prologue, I wonder if the Katana that Rukia (I believe its Rukia) threw at Ichigo is the same sword from the legends and stories Rukia is reading-the Shinoryoken.

I love Rukia's witty responses to her caretaker, especially-"Mrs. Araharu will force us into child labor?"

Mrs. Araharu does seem to have her hands full with the adorable spitfire that is Rukia.

Since the Shogun is Byakuya, I'm sure Beka is in for a rude awakening when Byakuya adopts Rukia rather than someone "perfect" like she believes herself to be.

I do wonder who the Daimyo is.

Rukia's last line had me laughing out loud.

I can't wait to see her "confront" the person who took her pies away from her.

Hmm, this is interesting so far. I love little rukia, she's so funny and mischievous. I haven't really got a good idea of where the story is going or what the plot is yet, since there's only two chapters, but the prologue was pretty intriguing, I really want to know what happens! I'm excited for the next chapter!

Interesting prologue.

This first chapter is full of mystery, especially how Ichigo has found himself facing execution.

I really like the line-"A true hero must first hold their life precious, to really make a sacrifice for someone else's."

I know the line applies to Ichigo in this chapter, but I think it fits Rukia really well in the manga.

She has countlessly put Ichigo's life before hers. When she first met him, then when walked willingly into SS with Byakuya and Renji, so that Ichigo's life would be spared, plus many other times she was willing to give her life for Ichigo.

The line also specifically reminds me of the SS arc, on the day of execution where Rukia asks Yamamato to spare Ichigo's life. She was prepared to die, believing Ichigo's life would be spared. She was ok with dying as long as Ichigo was safe.

Sorry for my Rukia fangirling, but you already know how much I love her.

Interesting start it makes me wonder what's happening and I want to read more! I like your style of writing it flows well and has a nice descriptive aspect to it.

There's just one thing, I think having a large chunk of writing in one paragraph makes it hard to read and it can be daunting. So if your split it up into smaller paragraphs it will look and read better...that's my opinion anyway. Hope you update soon :)
