The backstory of kurogane was a bit confusing but it was enjoyable to read. Great chapter I love the relationship between Kuro and fai :)

hmmm...really interesting story line. I'm glad that you incorparated the basics of tsubasa the soul and essence into your story in a creative manner. I am really curious how this will develop.

I'm so in love with this story :) it took me a bit to get my head around just because there was so much cool info, but it's all so original and awesome :) and that line about... lemme find it... about how Fai opened one eye grumpily blah blah blah - loved that! I thought it was such a good sentence hahaha I admired it for some time haha

I just found this story and I have to say that I am impressed and slightly sad. Your story is so well writen! It should have many more reviews. I mean, some of your explanations are a little... hard to follow. BUT, that might just be me. Everything else is very good. I am definitely hooked. I really will be looking forward to the next chapter.

that was simply fantastic! at the start it was really depressing after the events that transpired in the previous chapter, what with their farewell and all (mind you i'm still crying over that) and then the mysterious event with the little boy in the cave (and your description of the setting was brilliant! very eerie and suited to the mood) and suddenly the drama of it all with the end of the village (that was excellent as well, how you were able to incorporate cannon into your story and adjusted it to fit your plot) i really hope to see more from you soon and i'll still be looking out for fai's return! i still firmly believe that they deserve to be happy together...they're just perfect for each other! good luck with future updates!

even though the angst is so painful, i still really love your story! i can't help but feel so much pain for the both of them...it's so obvious that they love each other but it's really disheartening that fai won't give himself a chance at happiness just because kurogane is mortal or that he might end up losing his soul because of what fai needs so much of just to survive... at the same time i'm so furious that kurogane actually accepted the offer of those two women...i mean i know he had his reasons but they're not helping to prove that he's determined about being with fai despite his long absences and refusal to go further in their relationship...i just hope that things will go better soon and work out for the both of them...good luck in the next chapter! i'll be looking forward to it :)
