the only reason hiruzen did nothing about danzo ordering the uchiha massacre was because of shisui's eye and kotoamatsukami which is basically a mangekyou sharingan genjutsu that can control the recipient of the genjutsu.

this is an amazing story, and i would be said if you decided to remove it in favour of an over haul. if you decided to do something like that, i think post it as a seperate story would be better so that the amazing story that you have already spent so long on can stand as a landmark.

Sorry i'm late responding to this. Been busy with my own fanfictions as well as just lazy. Anyway, I think you should do what you feel comfortable doing. If you think you should discontinue this story and Underneath the Underneath then that's what you should do or if you would rather go back and edit the chapters that's also what you should do. I would rather you not have to feel like what you're writing is forced to fit with what you have if you're not comfortable with the chapters so far.

The only thing I ask is that if you're going to discontinue the stories and start over, that you leave these two stories up instead of deleting them. At the very least until you start posting the rewrites if that's the direction you go in. Every time that happens to a story I've been reading it always upsets me, because I can't go back and reread the story. I think your stories are good the way they are and I enjoy reading them, but if you think you can make them even better then I would enjoying reading both the current and the new version.

I hope you have your eye exam soon if you haven't already. I can't imagine you're having an easy time seeing even if you're not currently writing for your stories. Please let us know what decision you make in regards to these stories, and thanks for letting us know what's been going on with you. I know I appreciate it.

Ok so I don’t know about everyone else but I love your stories. If you feel you can improve them by doing a complete rewrite then by all means do so. I would however ask you not to discontinue the originals. Just fix them and continue them at your leisure if they are going to be very different whenever you are stuck or bored with the rewrites. Keep them as a sort of side project
