Oh Cam, that precious gem. You are a precious gem as well WriteonForever. I have been looking for something like this for awhile now, and here I am stumbling upon it at 2 in the morning. What you have written captured everything that I have been searching for in an Icicle Jr piece, and so much more. I could go on for another paragraph about how deeply I enjoyed this, but I am currently trying to fight down the feels that you have unleashed from my chest.

Oh Joar :'( This story is incredibly well written and all characters are very in-character. I loved how you portrayed Joar's love for Cam while keeping him in-character.

This is insufferable; why haven't more people reviewed this stunning finish to the epic arc you've created of Cameron not only going over to the light, but having his father put him there as a form of apology for treating him like chattel? This really is beautiful, in every way I could think to name (and a few that I couldn't possibly), but I will stick with saying that you played off Joar trying to do right, but screwing up along the way by accident perfectly. If this were to actually show up on the TV, I believe it would be completely in character to what the writers might think to do in the situation given. Even if Joar is a less than desirable human being, you gave him some humanity and that's a beauty all in itself.
