Reviews for Chaos Has Come
The Sithspawn chapter 6 . 6/9/2014
A very interesting premise, original even :D

Though Chaos could overwhelm Earth and SA forces very quickly, you'll have to be care about that.

Can't wait to read more so please update soon please!
The Justice and Death chapter 6 . 2/15/2014
This have to continue! Please don't stop!
Amaxo chapter 6 . 8/8/2013
How are you going to do this story? A single IoM cruiser can wipe out every non-Reaper ship all at once. The only reason Reapers could even possibly harm it is by swarming with numbers and forcing it into the sun.
A Sandvich chapter 1 . 6/23/2013
Wait 1 FRAG GRENADE took out 3 CHAOS SPACE MARINES? BULLSHIT! What next? One burst from a SMG can blow up a Terminator? This has nothing to do with fanboy ramblings but LOGIC. This almost makes you look like a ME fanboy at first glance. If a Ogryn can survive a frag grenade exploding on it's chest then a CHAOS space marine won't even feel a thing. A Space Marine armour is partially made of bloody ADAMANTIUM, plasteel and ceramite. Some of the hardest materials in the Warhammer universe. A chaos space marine will probably have better protection then a normal one because:
A. It gains extra protection from unholy chaotic runes
B. they are older which means they are closer to the time period of the Great Crusade (the golden age of humanity where tech was a lot better)

"Something tells me you're perfectly content to read about Space Marines taking a rocket to the chest and surviving but then go down to a normal sword or slug in the next scene, so long as it all happens in the 40kverse."

Let me remind you on how Power Swords and Bolter rounds work. Power Swords are made of pure adamantium and is encased in an energy shield that can cut through tank armour as if it were tissue paper. The energy field does not just protects the blade but also increases its lethality. The field disrupts molecular bonds which causes armour and flesh to explosively vaporise (a bit like Necron tech). This allows it to cut through almost anything and do severe damage to living things as it ignores armour and hits the flesh almost completely. A bolter round is not like a pathetic rocket ok? A bolter can be fired at rapid succession and the rounds itself is designed to DRILL into the enemy before exploding, rupturing organs, ignoring armour and causing severe internal bleeding. Such a blow can kill almost anyone. The tip of the round is made of (you guessed it) Adamantium so it can penetrate through the weaker Plasteel and Ceramite. A rocket does not drill into people before blowing up nor is tipped with adamantium to give it the armour piercing capabilities. It just blows up on contact which batters the armour a bit but leaves the Marine unharmed on the inside. Here is a diagram of the shell:

One VERY important thing I must point out that most of the readers are Warhammer 40k fans and so extreme luck based events (I am looking at you Master Chief and James Bond) and plot shields won't go well with us. (I had run in with soooooooooooo many trolls in my life, I just hope you won't become one D:)

Now that is out the way I must say you have REALLY good writing skills and creativity. I am so impressed with your story and I hope you will come up with the next few chapters real soon :)

"Shepard dared to hope that this would be the last big battle fought for a long while, preferably with the good guys as the victors."
Sorry Shepard but I don't think that will be possible mate :)

P.S. Sorry about the MONSTA post but I just couldn't resist. I hope I didn't offend or anger you, I just wanted to point out your mistakes and give you reasons :)
Sam chapter 1 . 6/19/2013
Finally Abaddon will actually be successful in one of his Black Crusades. He was so pathetic in the Warhammer 40k universe for he lost almost all the time (Biggest plot shield EVAR). FINALLY Abaddon will win FINALLY!

Yep I agree with you Sandvich. The only reason why I read these crossovers is because of the culture shock and how the opposing team gets their asses handed to them so fast that it is just hilarious :).

Oh and I just thought of the most badass fight of all time, ABADDON VS SHERPARD IN A 1 ON 1 DUEL!
A Sandvich chapter 1 . 6/16/2013
Mass Effect gets it's ass handed to them so hard it makes me laugh. ME has NO chance against chaos
ShadowCub chapter 6 . 6/9/2013
Bitch slap Shepard, he got extremely lucky the chaos gods are a different breed of evil.
More please.
ShadowCub chapter 4 . 6/9/2013
The Earth of this time deserves everything that is coming to them.
Wonder where the GoM is at this time?
Spirally chapter 6 . 6/5/2013
Wow... a really interesting start, honestly i don't have much to say right now, this fic is very good, also i would like to ask will there be any other force besides Chaos that will come to the ME Galaxy?, anyway that is all.
giodan chapter 6 . 6/2/2013
an interesing start! i like it! but how is coming a good end whit a black crusade as thery oppenet?
originalname412 chapter 6 . 5/28/2013
Oh I want to see what kind of space magic and SPECULATION FROM EVERYONE will save Shepard from The Eightfold. Honestly I hope you have the bad guys win this one but tis your fic, write what you will. On the last note Shepard saying Alpharius doesn't stand a chance against him made me chuckle at his ignorance.
TheEgoRaptor chapter 5 . 5/11/2013
Would very much like to see this continued. Please keep up the good work mate!
Axcel chapter 5 . 3/4/2013
The star wars bit was the only example with a similar scale to warhammer I could think of. Anyway, I like your fic!

Hey, if he was two and a half meters tall...does that mean he really is Alpharius? Because that is about the size of a Primarch, with the Marines being about two meters straight.

Eager to see how this plays out :D

Axcel

All very good points, but this is a Mass Effect/Warhammer 40k fic. Star Wars principles don't exactly apply at all. As for fleet sizes, it's always a good idea to refer to this diagram to get an idea of how big some Imperium ships are: uploads/12/123120/2427052-ship_chart_
Axcel chapter 1 . 2/26/2013
You know what gets me? Warhammer 40k routinely depicts armies in the tens of millions (each, per battlefield) but the fleets are tiny. A dozen ships is considered a heavy response and several dozen is called a crusade fleet. Really? Admittedly, they are freakishly powerful. To put things in perspective, a star wars star destroyer (a capital ship, a battleship if judged by its role in the fleet) is 1km-2km long. An Imperium Falcion class light frigate is 2.2km long with weapons capable of destroying planetary surfaces the size of georgia ( the state in america) with a single shot.

Han Solo puts it best about the power to destroy a planet "that would take a fleet with more firepower than I've ever-". A single Imperium battleship can destroy a continent with a single broadside. Its shields can take hours of bombardment from another battleship (and that is just one layer. It has at least a dozen layers of void shields).

Still, you'd think the Imperium would have far more ships per fleet than it does. Star wars fleets sent to respond to enemy aggression are in the thousands, sometimes tens of thousands. And those are just a fraction of their parent fleet. The Imperium's troop carriers have a crew of one million and carry three million guardsmen. Why not turn some into fleet carriers? The Imperium tried it once with a new class but it failed because it didn't launch many more fighters than an other ships and had almost no defenses.

Holy crap this took on a life of its own. Sorry.

TL;DR fleets should be hellahuge.
