I simply adore this chapter. Isobel's boldness, as well as Richard's worries about not being able to stop himself, about always wanting to be a gentleman and not wanting to create problems to her... they're so very in character.

I LOVE this story...just now found it, and read it straight through. The misunderstandings and the chance sightings between the two was choice story material. The way you paralleled their comings and goings so that they intersected with each other several times in the story was great...and all the longing just warmed me straight through to my toes. Thanks for the awesome read!

Another lovely chapter and true to character. I can see Isobel worrying about Agatha and wanting to do things properly. The conversation seemed very believable and they seem to be moving towards a happy ending. ;)

I have been trying to categorize it - this talent of yours. I think you have a distinct ability to draw out (and present to us) the inner sex god in the most unlikely seeming characters.

That is not a very well stated category. But yours is the most delicious use of it.

Oh, Richard, you ridiculous man, thinking that Isobel would be having assignations with Sir Anthony. Beyond insane.

Still, I was touched by his obvious vulnerability and loneliness. He just doesn't get it that he's attractive to women.

I really like the thought and feeling you have put into this story - as well as the delicious image of that dress.

Sir Anthony was such a sweetheart here - in the harmless sense, of course - when he wasn't talking Isobel into a stupor.

And poor Isobel! Something tells me she will get her happy ending, but of course she obviously doesn't think so...

I loved this. It seems to be moving towards resolution, which maybe why you had issues writing it. We all know you love to write lots of parts with lots of twists and turns. Maybe in your heart you felt this was wrapping things up. Also it is very dialogue heavy which you usually intersperse with vast descriptions. I'm not saying that's a bad thing but that maybe why you aren't satisfied. From the reader point of view, it works well, covers a lot of ground and seems quite natural. X

This was again lovely. As always I like how you manage to bring in so many other characters. The last few lines were predictably my favourite. :)

This chapter is absolutely the perfect setup for a lot of future hilarity as well as romance for our favorite doctor and nurse. You have done and ARE doing a wonderful job on this story and IF you'd like, I can share one or two of the plot bunnies that have suddenly jumped into my mind over what could ensue from here. Such plot bunnies would/could involve - Sir Anthony, Edith, Agatha, Mrs. Patmore, Elsie, Charles and several others - depending on where YOUR mind takes the baby plot bunnies!
