Because sometimes no matter how far you go, how fast you run, or how many defenses you build up, the past is always there, lingering behind you.
This was nicely written :) It was sad, but good

Oh, Blue. This is another sad twist on a nice character. It's very insightful on her relationships with the other Dexholders. :)

But the best part is the last sentence. It shows how she hides her true self from everyone except those she trusts most. I wish I could give her a hug. :(
