I see it's been a good long while since this saw activity, but I thought I'd stop by and say that it's really good. I'm a big fan of the style (it kinda reminds me of the Dresden Files, a great series about a wizard / private investigator in chicago) and anyway, if you felt like coming back to it I for one would read all the chapters.

Love this story concept! Detective Zuko as narrator is pretty fun to read, and I'm interested to see how things will progress with Korra on the scene now. Looking forward to finding out what happens next!

I am loving this. I never considered a noir detective fic set in Legend of Korra but it works awesomely.

This fic has a lot of potential in it, and I'm loving the snarky Zuko with his badass fighting skills (or what we've seen so far anyways) :) And oh boy... enter Korra, the irresponsible, hot-headed teenage weapon of mass destruction who causes thousands in property damage and starts wars and apocalypses on a regular basis . I feel for you Zuko, I really do...

Plot-wise... well, there's nothing really there for me to review xD It looks good so far though. Now, moving on :P

I can see that you are trying to go for a more abrupt and comedic style here to better fit the noir setting, but I'm not entirely sure you quite managed to pull it off. Or maybe it's the fact that I know these characters too well xD I think the problem is, is that the vocab and sentence structures are too... complicated? Or maybe there needs to be a few more significant looks or descriptions of body language to replace some dialogue. I just don't know. /Something/ is putting me off :/

I'll wait a little more and reserve judgment until more chapters come out. 14k words just isn't enough for me, haha. Until then, keep up the good work! This seems like a good start to something great! :)

This is a lot of fun. And hey, I can see an older Zuko who never met Aang or get stuck in the Fire Nation royalty business turning out this way.

Story's far from finished, of course, and it remains to be seen which way the plot'll go, and at the current pace it may take a while before we do see that, but it holds a lot of promise. I'm also very curious to see which other characters from AtLA will show up, and how they'll relate to one another.
