Love the parallel structure, and the small yet crucial difference in the first line of each POV. Your writing style was perfect for a piece like this-introspective, and almost stream-of-consciousness but more eloquent. I wish there were more fics that dealt with the psychology behind their romantic attraction, especially for Holly. I also wish that this were longer, but frankly I know it's perfect the way it is. This was cute. Nice writing, easy to read style, simple plot and I liked the Sherlock reference slipped in at the end there. Are you planning on continuing this at all, perhaps another couple of moments where the sparks started to fly more?
