Aw...sweet. "One Week" fits well with this pairing (which I've begun to call Spiteshipping, since they seem to have a love-hate relationship), but so does "You Got What It Takes." Read this fic a long time ago, actually, just found it again. I think it is cute and works well around the characters-the dialogue and interaction rings true for both Jumba and Pleakley. My only complaint is the wife remark-that was just too corny for me-Pleakley has a strong feminine side but I don't think he'd go all the way and call himself a "wife". There's a difference between effeminacy and transexuality. But (*shrug*) other people feel differently about it, I guess. Anyway, that's the only thing. Good story, nice vignette, great warmth of characterization.

Well, as much as I cringe at the thought of Jumba/Pleakley, that was VERY good. I loved that Barenaked Ladies peice up on the top. I love that song and it fit along great with this. It was great how you put their personalitys almost exactly the way they are (like Pleakley calling Jumba "angry head" and you keeping Jumba's accent noticeable. Great touch!) I can't belive I'd ever like a Pleakley/Jumba story but I got teary eyed! Jumba calling Pleakley "Little One" was so sweet and so touching. Keep up the great work. ((by the way, this is Piewolvesandsuch. I had afterthoughts about this story. :)
