Reviews for Budapest
Katie MacAlpine chapter 9 . 5/16
Budapest was not what I expected. It was a lot better. Separating them was a great idea.
I love your stories and I have been leaving reviews, but you don't reply. Is it because these stories are so old? I would like to know if you're still writing.
Dancer2001 chapter 9 . 7/29/2017
That was awesome! The characters are so well written, and they still fit with the films. I know it might seem a bit boring, but I think it would be nice to read one where a mission actually goes right, though.
VoicesOffCamera chapter 9 . 2/20/2017
A day may come when I will stop being blow away by every single story you write... but today is NOT that day! (And honestly, that day will probably never come, but I couldn't resist the LOTR reference, haha)

So as per usual this was AMAZING and blew away all expectations going in to this! I think you did a fantastic job taking that one small exchange in the Avengers movie and turning it into an epic story! I love the way you managed this... they most definitely remember things differently because Clint doesn't remember most of what happened! That's just brilliant! Genius! And I do think you captured the essence of why the events of the Avengers would remind Natasha of this event. Because you are so right, it's not like they could have plausibly battled another alien invasion. But the impossible odds and the way that the bad guys just kept coming with seemingly no end in sight did a perfect job of connecting the two events in my opinion. And I LOVED the poison and the effects on Clint, because I am obviously a masochist, haha! Poor guy. My one little tiny disappointment in this was that Dan appears a little... flat to me compared to how he's been portrayed in other stories. I think that might be because this story was written early on in your process, before you really developed him, but I still missed a lot of his quips and his relationship with both Phil and Clint. But again, that was a very minor flaw in an otherwise fantastic story! I can't get enough and I'm already diving into the next story! :)
VoicesOffCamera chapter 2 . 2/17/2017
Quick point of interest as I'm making my way through another one of your fantastic stories: I would LOVE to see a story that includes that first time Natasha tried to wake Clint from one of his nightmares and gets sliced by his knife. Just imagine the horror that Clint would feel causing her any harm! I'm sadistic like that. *evil grin*
cedarlight chapter 1 . 7/29/2016
Love, love, love your vantage point universe. You are masterful at portraying Clint and Natasha. The scenes and characterizations are very realistic and believable, and I'm glad I found your stories. Thank you for writing and sharing your work.
LisaG16 chapter 4 . 4/27/2016
rut roh! they're in trouble now...especially clint!
Marchonea chapter 9 . 4/6/2016
Fantastic! This is such a brilliant representation of Budapest, though I'm beginning to think you have some sort of grudge against teeth! *shudder* Though what about the implant that the techs made for Clint that didn't set off the sensor? I swear Tony needs to get to those techies pronto cus they have an alarming habit for inconsistent tech (I site Croatia on this one) Nat might be small but she sure as HELL has a fire to her! At this point Clint should look into setting up a safe house for himself and Nat in Viennahe goes to their med ward A LOT! It's practically his second home alreadyAnd WOAH plot twist with Brianna Williams! I did not see that one coming, though what a wonderful twist using one of the more commonly mentioned names! looking forward to watching this develop :D
BooksAreMedicine chapter 9 . 1/13/2016
Really liked the confrontation with Moreno...so many good lines. The part about Phil seeing Natasha as small was moving as were the good-byes. Nice parallel with Phil and Barney saying the same thing. Cool idea with the Council. I loved the end with the burning of the ledger...explains a lot about his behavior later on
BooksAreMedicine chapter 8 . 1/13/2016
Perfect quote at the top. I liked the repeat of the soul bearing share all between them. The teaser about Natasha's past was great, I am excited to learn more about how she saved herself and manipulated them. Great idea to end with Clint's point of view
BooksAreMedicine chapter 7 . 1/13/2016
Glad they are together...nice call to have Natasha being threatened or kissing him pulling him back to reality
BooksAreMedicine chapter 6 . 1/13/2016
Cool to hear about Natasha's training and see her hold up during an interrogation. It would be cool to see how Clint and Natasha worked together in an interrogation (when they were the ones trapped against their will). I liked the touch in with Phil and how only he could banish Barney. Nice touch to add Briana Williams too, so many hints in this story
BooksAreMedicine chapter 5 . 1/13/2016
Poor Clint, horrible hallucinations to have, nice way to have him handicapped without a bullet. Natasha's assessment of Clint's mind and energy was cool to read, very well written. I enjoyed (not sadistically) the parallels between their torture. Good call with bringing Barney in, reminds me of Sherlock's mind palace with Moriarty
BooksAreMedicine chapter 4 . 1/13/2016
Whoa, great action packed chapter. I love how well they work as a team. Clint protected them as a normal couple and Natasha got them attention when they needed it :) Poor Clint, he's not shot but drugs are probably worse for him
BooksAreMedicine chapter 3 . 1/13/2016
It was so fun seeing them on a date...nice of Fury to have them be married. The shopping scene was so well written, bravo! I loved the parallel with Natasha's nightmare and how they both have a "Barney" so to speak. The safehouses thing is a good idea too
BooksAreMedicine chapter 2 . 1/12/2016
Haha, Fury was great here so funny and in character. I loved Phil's connection to Natasha here
