I know you said you get a lot of flames but from a story stand point this was beautiful. It's a long time since this has been updated but it's still being read!

i like this story very match but as a native german i must tell you that some of the the germann was incorrekt. i know nobody likes know it alls
but first of all "gelübte" dosnt fit in the sentens it should be verspreche
in the next german sentence you shoul say "Wenn sie versprechen unsere Stadt zu retten werden wir cooperien." steve should answer "Ich verspreche ich werde helfen ihre stadt zu retten. Ich will ihr zu hause retten."
Just a tip. zhe rest is correct. What you wrote was jibberisch at first glance and then afterr rereding it sounds like you want to save somting on your pc its pretty funny as natasha tells us what it is supost to mean.

What's really sweet is Tony immediately noting Steve's birthday right when he hears it, with no other intention other than celebrating his birthday. The bond is great.
(Which makes Civil War hurt even more, dammit.)

so wait.. this chapter doesn't make sense to me. Bucky isn't the winter soldier? Bucky was brainwashed by Hydra, but if he is here talking about steve does that mean that bucky died in the end and never met Steve in the future?

I can't say I like that idea very much. Your story is great but I just don't agree on this chapter. Bucky plays a major role for steve. Bucky helps steve cope with being in the future. Bucky is the only one of Steve's friends who aren't in the hospital or dead.
Bucky also helps him during the civil war. -_-
