What a beautiful gift! And what an amazingly kind and sensitive man badass Sam Swarek is, to have thought of such a meaningful gift for Andy. The locket with the pictures of her mom and dad would be a wonderful gift any time, but to give it to her the night before their wedding, so that they would be there with her on that special day, made the locket a truly special and memorable gift. Well done Swarek! And, very well done, Laura.

"Thinking she was asleep"... Lol, can't wait for what's next. Geez, for a whole month they acted like awkward thirteen-year olds! Tracy and Oliver's having to leave wasn't planned, but it certainly couldn't have turned out any better for Sam and Andy. About damn time, I say.

I just knew that whole thing was gonna push her over the edge. Oh, I'm so glad she spotted her phone, and that Sam's words came to mind. Perfect outcome there!

OMG, stop worrying. This chapter was amazing. I mean really, really amazing.
I couldn't believe that Andy didn't run out on the counselor, much less that she stuck to the six months disability time line. And oh my gosh, thank you for having Sam take her to St. Catherine's. Sarah was exactly what she needed, and their private conversation was awesome, and so beneficial for Andy to learn the details of their family history. And I loved your version of what happened to Sam and Sarah's family, and how it all turned out, once their father was convicted and sentenced to life in prison. Wondering now, if their father is still in prison. Do they still go see him? Anyway, very well done, my dear.

Nah, I don't really think it would ruin everything. She's already told Traci how relentless he's been, being there for her, and Traci's comment that she thought it was love surely wasn't much of a surprise, if at all. So...! And yipee! She's finally taken that first step to get help. So, still think she needs to meet Sarah. I would bet you're gonna make that happen, sooner or later.

Okay. She's getting the new apartment! That's even better! Lol, like, duh! And, ohmygosh, she's actually warming up to him. Slowly, Swarek! Baby steps, take baby steps.

OMG, I kept trying to figure out what was happening. Of course, a dream. I should have realized that right away. So, at least he was there when she woke up. But he can't do that over and over. So, he needs to find a new home. And, I think he should talk to Sarah. Who else would know so readily what should be done for Andy?

I think he should find a new place to live. That way, when he brings Andy back to his place again, it'll be like they're starting over, fresh and new, for both of them.

Oh my goodness, I really like this story. I was thrilled at the progress that seemed to have been made while she was eating the meal he'd prepared for her, and like that he mentioned Sarah. But, it went to hell in a hurry when he asked to see her wrist. He probably should have let her alone about that for at least a little while. I kinda doubt she'll come back to his place, and wonder if he'll go looking for her in the seedy neighborhood she was living in.

It's so good to know that he loves her. I was really hoping that Andy heard him, distantly, subconsciously, even. Even if it was something that would take a while for her to remember, or comprehend. And how cool that he was familiar with cutting (thanks to poor Sarah). Wouldn't it be something, if, down the road, he managed to get those two together, that maybe Sarah would be of some help in getting her over that terrible habit. Anyway, glad to know that he's declared to her (warned her!) that she's stuck with him.

I think that Sam's not only going to see the stab wound, whether it's superficial or serious, but he might also see other marks...scars? And, I'm sure that's not going to go well!

Well, I wouldn't say scum, but he was the catalyst for Andy's downward spiral. Wondering if anyone knows about the cutting. And, ohmygosh, is she still doing that? There'd be terrible scars if she was.

This chapter was absolutely heart-wrenching. I have never known anyone who cut, and have never witnessed the results of cutting, even the scars. I feel so bad for Andy. Let's hope it wont be long before she gets help. Can't imagine what Sam would think/do if he came back right now.
