You don’t have to...you can make a sequel series that shows how classic episodes like “krusty gets busted” and “Bart the general” among others would be different in this AU...just a thought

I winced at Lisa's dismissal at the end.

*rolls eyes* You play up Lisa's situation far too much. At least three of those other kids had it way worse than her, and yet they're saying how she's got it "really bad", even though her dad still actually cares for her. Also in the previous chapter you said she'd have a hard time choosing between the mother that hates her and doesn't have a job outside of making her life hell and the father that loves her, has a job (albeit an unstable one), but just isn't around all the time? The choice seems fairly obvious. I feel like you're biased to Lisa's particular situation. I understand that she's the main character but still...

Eliza treats Lisa like Peter treats Meg. Exactly. Homer treats Lisa as Brad treats Lisa.

This is kinda a vision if Peter and Homer were taking care of them. Homer, the loving caring father while Peter is the abusive one.

This is a really clever plot. I knew the Simpsons would get together and be a happy family in the end, and I think that's why I think the story ended so perfectly. I love Lisa's dairy entry in the last chapter. I like how with all the AU elements that the characters were still able to maintain themselves.
