  Guest chapter 1 . 6/18/2014 I read this story several times, and I loved it every single time. The only thing is, I find it hard to believe Mrs. Mellark's love would turn 180 degrees toward complete abuse, just because Peeta was seen once smiling in Nina's arms. Maybe she'd feel colder toward Peeta, like Peeta had betrayed her somehow, but even she must have more sense than that, as Peeta's just a baby. Even for her, I can't even see her just completely abandon her love for him and start abusing him for the rest of his life, because of that incident alone. I think the sense of betrayal she felt she got from Peeta, which must have led to the abuse, could've been delved into deeper. Just my opinion! |

There wasn't much information on them (Suzanne doesn't even mention their names) and I just disn't understand what made his mother hate him so much, and how he could still be so good despite that. This makes Eberything make a lot more sense, and, as usual, your writing is beautiful. |
