You had me worried there for a moment. PHEW! Wonderfully done!

This was sO great. Honestly you had me worried for a second that this wasn’t gunna have such a happy ending but whEn it did I had the biggest smile on my face. Thank you for writing this, a wonderful short fic!

Um. So. DO YOU MIND? Because I loved this! It was heartbreaking, bitter, impulsive, and so sweet in the end, and all the emotional beats were high and hit hard. I'll admit it, I was surprised when I'd reached that sequence right after where he'd awakened to his 10 yr anniversary, with the jump back explaining his deal with Charlotte, because I'd 1000% thought this was going to be a split-for-good fic where Remy got to happily move on!

Anyway, I feel like you really got the characters here, the way she runs from things, how she can seems so flighty, and how in the beginning, he flares up and deflates in arguments with her. Love how that was a growing up moment for her. Also, thank you, thank you, thank you so very much for letting Belle move on! That woman has been shafted with heartbreak over Remy in the comics, and she tends to be villainized in fics, so it's wonderful to see her portrayed more as a happy, pragmatic, and close friend of his! I live for the notion of those two being good friends, and even hc her and Rogue being pretty good pals in the end, too.

Anyway, will definitely be reading and commenting on other fics!

This was the perfect fic. Even though I'm not a comic book reader, I didn't feel thoroughly lost as I kinda did a bit of research as to what is happening in the comics now that I'm going to an X-Men phase again. I'm disturbed like you that Rogue/Magneto even happened. That's insane and disgusting.

Anyway, I love you wrote the eventual Romy reunion. It was realistic and well done. Olivier is the perfect name for their son. Fantastique!

I loved the tension and angst in this story...pure ROMY goodness. I am so glad they got a happy ending. That proposal scene was adorable.

I can't believe i forgot to post on this story. I did read this story a while ago and i thought it was very good. I thought it was an excellent story to continue from where Marvel pretty much ruined almost all stories especially romy! Excellent when Rogue realizes her mistake. Even though she technically did break up and denied Magneto's engagement in Marvel... Marvel sucks most times!

Anyway, I thought it was bitter sweet from the beginning to the middle. It was awesome of how you gave hints to Remy's future although most of us were hoping it would be with Rogue. I loved how you write the different sets of events to come. So sweet of their happy ending :) Loved it.

That whole arc in the comics that had Rogue hopping in and out of Magneto's bed like a little high school slut had me not liking her character so much, wich considering usually she's one of my favorites tells you how much I disliked it

Oh god I can't even stand to acknowledge the current state of Romy (or lack thereof) in the Marvel universe. Just gets me all riled up. Especially the current Gambit series with that 'Latina-croft' Joelle or however you spell her name. The Rogue/Magneto thing makes me sick too.

This was a lovely fic, painful and heartfelt all the same. I'm glad those iconic lines Remy said to Rogue hit you in the feels enough to write a story with it based as a component.

Aww...Like...Aww! This is just so sweet although the French words confused me a little. I feel that this story focus on the the reality of Rogue and Gambit's situation and for once, Rogue is the bad guy here.
This is just so beautiful! I love it so much!
