K-korra? Crying and crying and goddamnit I'm crying some more

I have three things to say:
First, I'm not a huge fan of Avatar: the Legend of Korra, but something about this couple has caught my eye (admittedly that being the similarities to that of Zuko and Katara).
Second, I'm somewhat of a pretentious jerk when it comes to reading fics. If I scroll through my history, I'd probably find at least fifty titles that I opened, read two lines of, and then impatiently skipped back a page to escape the way my mind was clawing at my eyes.
Third, (and this is kind of embarassing) I literally sighed with joy three sentences into this. You know how to use words and that's such a rare delight that this is actually the first story I've had the stomach to continue reading for more than two minutes.
