this story is so fascinating! at first, in early chapters i wondered how we would ever come to a bamon endgame...you wrote bonnie's character so believably-from her loathing of damon's vampirism, to her loathing of damon himself. seeing her character's development, i couldn't help but think that there was a lot more of the stockholm syndrome (which they both internally acknowledge) than a chance for b and d to come together as friends or even as more. i'm still on the fence, but now that bonnie has been liberated from damon's prison and (perhaps?) the blood bond, i'm excited to see what will happen next. thanks for sharing such a great (and well-written) story!

Why I felt like now Damon Is linked to Bonnie?!

Hi, okay I think my thoughts are finally organized enough to review this. First and foremost, thank you so much for continuing to write and share this with us. I’m sure the process is not easy, so you are so appreciated.

This freaking chapter. I mean, my word. I felt EVERYTHING. Gram’s urgency and love during and after the spell; Caroline and Elena’s distress and fear for Bonnie; Stefan’s concern and caution for Damon; Bonnie and Damon’s individual journeys with death; Bonnie’s absolute anguish at the end. Ugh so many things. And the freaking crow story, are you kidding me?! I have looooottttssss of parallel, foreshadowing thoughts about that for Bamon obvs.

Love the incorporation of Ayanna and the Bennet lineage, as well as keeping Grams’ fate open. I’m living in my own head where she will be fine, even if I’m wrong. In the meantime though, I know that angst is gonna be strong as Bonnie navigates being back home without her main source of support. Obvs excited to see the aftermath of the removal(?) of the bond on Bonnie’s end (it might just be dormant, idk idk idk) in relation to Damon’s flair up of her emotions and coming to terms with the Katherine thing.

What a way to come back. Always thrilled to read your work 33
