Are you kidding? The English language is the cultural and linguistic dump of the world. Oh, that word is french? Take off the accents and BOOM. English. This has no translation? Give it an english definition or make something up. Feeling like nothing fits your mood? Make up a word, if it catches on it'll go into Urban Dictionary. Feeling like sentences don't work as a good response? Use sounds. Ex. "Oof", "Blegh", "Ugh." Cann't Speel? Das OK just rite like dis and U'll be fine. Want to make a contradictory impact? Use Opposite words to explain something! Ex. "It was so hot it felt cold."

As an author I should be screaming about Robin's decimation of the English language but I cannot find it in myself to be angry at the little troll

Loved your story and that everyone forgave Connor and realized that he's trying with his anger :)
And yeah love Robin's playing with prefixes as well
(Can't do it myself cause English isn't my native language and not doing it in English would be kind of awkward for me :/ )

Hey I saw some typos in chapter 3 so check that will you I saw maybe 3 of them it made me go crazy but I love the story. Robin is my favorite so make some more

Sacrilegious? Au contraire! Wordplay is a demonstration of one's love and adoration of language! Like any art, be it musical composition, poetry, or even theatre, one must first know the rules before one can break them... with style. XD

(Besides that, even if brevity is the soul of wit, irony is certainly the soul of comedy.)

This was a fun ride. Okay, not so much for Robin, but still...

Way to get Connor some much-needed character development. Poor kid may have the head knowledge to match his build, but that doesn't remedy the fact that he was thrown into this with the literal (no, really) and utterly justifiable emotional maturity of a 1-year-old.

If it's any consolation, I'm pretty sure 90% of the fandom shares your penchant for Robin-whump despite his being a much-adored character. I think we all just appreciate his outstanding tenacity in otherwise soul-crushingly awful situations. But that's just my take on it.

Trouble is a-brewing...

I had a moment where I was confused about the timeline, since Connor didn't really get his name until several episodes into the show (and our archer seems to be conspicuously missing, which led me to initially place it in with the earlier episodes). But, in the end, I kind of don't care where it lands so much, and either way his having a name makes it far easier to relate to him as a character.

That seems kind of important for this story. Just a niggling feeling, of course. XD

I really enjoyed reading this story. Great suspense, fight scenes, and wonderful comfort after all of the hurt (emotional and physical). I like how you dealt with anger and its consequences, and the role of adults in the lives of these teens fighting for justice.

this is good...loved the reactions, and interactions. Batman was awesome as always. Robin too. Was kinda hoping we'd see Bats beating down on Supes about his 'kid' but ehh I suppose that wasn't really this stories direction.

Well, you totally make up for 'feeling the aster' by using the word 'sacriligeous' in an Author's Note lol!
