I like this plot so much! I mean, when one of the marauders is captured by the Death Eaters and Severus has to save him from within. Yours is definitely the best.
I fail to see why there are so few reviews. In my list, your story is in Top-3. And I have read hundreds, believe me, and in several languages.

Love your characterization of Sirius. And Snape is very in-character, despite the fact that it was written long before the end of the saga.

I love that bit. I really do. I like it enough that, even though it's been years since I've read this fic, even though it had been so long that I had forgotten the entire plot, I still think of the line "Misery wanted Company to bugger off and die" every time I come across the phrase "Misery loves company."

The rest of the story was good, too, of course. But I wanted to express my appreciation of that part in particular.

Excellent piece. I would only adjust the middle of it - the Death Eaters (here Snape and Lucius Malfoy) only ever refer to LV as the Dark Lord, not (Lord) Voldemort.
