I read the entire fic with a smile, checked when it was last updated, and promptly howled in despair. I love this so much you wouldn't BELIEVE!

Hey! I have no idea if you're going to continue this story but I still wanted to let you know that I enjoyed it IMMENSELY. I think you've captured all the characters perfectly and the whole beginning with Kurt in the mountains? Awesome. Todd being kind of insecure but still a sassy douche? Awesome. Trixie?! Don't even get me started on her. I enjoy slow-burns the best and this was the best kind. Even if you don't continue it I'll probably re-read it again. I felt a certain tinge of realism in this story that is hard to find - still keeping the X-men:evo world in mind, that is. You have a wonderful way of getting the reader to feel the injustices and sympathy for all the characters (especially Todd) becomes second nature. Also, your writing style is so captivating and one of the best kinds of 'if forget that I'm reading'.

I recently remembered about this fix, and just shotgunned through it all. I'm sad to see that there's been no more updates, but I still thoroughly enjoyed what has been written. I hope you're inspired to work on this again in the future, this is such a small and mostly forgotten fandom, it's nice when gems like this are made for it~

I know it's been a while since you've updated, but I wanted to tell you that this fic is one of the best i've read on the entire site- and i've read more stories here than is probably healthy. I love this story, and you do an AMAZING job at the characterization and it's balance with your own twists on things. Trixie is so amazing I can hardly stand it, and I usually don't end up adoring OC's.

I know writers can fall out of love with their work, or real life catches up to them and fanfics take a backseat, but it would mean so much to me- and i'm sure a ton of others- if you pick up this fic again. Either way thank you for writing all that you have so far, and I hope to see more from you but understand if that can't happen.

Considering how painfully old this series/fandom is now, finding fiction was like angels bursting into my room and singing praise. It is so, so hard to find a fiction for this pairing that is still updating and wasn't abandoned more than ten years ago.
I love your writing, this really does deserve more favs and follows, and i have to say i don't think anyone has portrayed Todd and Kurt getting together so acurrately. (or at least my opinion of accuracy)
I praise, pray, and plead that i didn't start reading this just as you lost interest in it writing it. I'm addicted to this story and i can't thank you enough for creating it.

I absolutely loved this chapter. Toad's initiative was really fun to see, and I think shows a lot of his character development. I also like what the end of this chapter is leading to - I can't wait to see it. Good luck on the next chapter!

Ah, good to see that you're back and your writing ability is as sharp as ever with this fandom and these two characters in particular. Adoration flows through the connection between the fuzzy elf and toad, as always, but I wanted to cry and then choke Todd's mother by the end of this chapter. Which, I suppose, was the point you were trying for in this round.

I binge read this while I was sick and it is the most amazing X-Men Evolution fanfic I have EVER read! The pairing came or of nowhere for me but now I'm ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with it! Your writing is amazing and I love all the cool action bits! I'm so hyped for future chapters! :D

I'm so sad to see this fic hasn't been completed! It was so much fun to read. I'd seen the first two chapters posted on AO3 several months ago and lamented the fact that that was all there was. After stumbling across it again, one of the reviews said it had been posted here, too. I was excited to see so many more chapters! This is actually the first Evo fic I've read in many years, and the fact that it's so good and my favorite pairing makes it that much more special. I'm going to track it in the event that you ever update again, and if not, well, it was an amazing two days worth of reading. Thanks so much for writing this!
