I've devoured this story, it's so touching and I love how you develop their growing and changing relationship.

Their gentleness is incredible and expected. Well written.

This has been a wonderful read first thing in my morning. I loved their growth and evolution. The moments and the uncertainty. And the inevitable building of trust and then love. Such roads of healing are slow and your have described it at a perfect pace.

A great delve into the minds of Anders and Fenris. Anders entirely believable. Fenris, who I don't tend to like, and rarely read fics for, was an amazing character. The love/hate he must have felt! Anders, I felt so sorry for him! The two made a beautiful pairing. The only buggy thing I thought about this story was that it got a little bit repetitive. You wanted to show how Anders inch-by-inch gets out of his closed shell, but it got so incremental that some of the scenes became repetitive. Not that the story should be shorter, but Anders' progress could have been shown in different ways, rather than just mainly Fenris saying "he said this, and did this on his own accord, then the next day he said this extra word and did a bit more on his own accord." I know I'm simplifying and it wasn't anywhere close like that but many scenes were like that. Of course, this story is from Fenris' perspective, but an alternative could be say that another Warden observed Anders and then reported back to Fenris. Then, Fenris' processing of this info would have been a different type of approach to advancing Anders' emotional progress. But yeah, otherwise, Love Love Love!

So here I am again ..drawn to this story. Another one by the same storyteller as my previous favorite story. I hope there is a lot more to this one. :D

oh yes, Fenris likes a mage how could this ever happen? I think they have so much in common, a tragic past with abuse, emotional isolation, punishment ... If he looks past the mage and sees the man instead, all is possible (even love). So lets see how much of the "mages are all evil and only want power"! Fenris is left over. Fenders !

My mental image of Anders when he first tells Fenris that he got lost, combined with the following mental image of him recognizing Aedan, Nathaniel, and Zevran at last, just completely makes me melt into a puddle of Aynslesa-goo. And Fenris, being so protective... yup, this goo isn't turning solid any time soon. How am I typing when I am goo? Only I know this...
