From the first moment I read this story I loved it. I was sad when I thought it had been abandoned. That said I love the new chapter and I am glad you are still posting to it. You're depiction of the Ma'Sho is wonderful and this is such a wonderful piece that I should have reviewed sooner. Thank you for sharing you work. ️

Welcome back! Wonderful, amazing chapter. I enjoyed the Shin-Rajura interaction. A different characterization than I've seen...but I really love it!

Love the story it was worth the long wait. Don't worry about the characterizations of Rajura and Shin one on one its hard to write when they barely interact in the television show. I have a few stories where I had the same issue and I just barely made the characters still seem like their normal selves. but it was still a good story can't wait for the next chapter hopefully it won't be a long wait like this one.

Incredible! You've managed to capture a different heart of the Masho, something I've not seen in any Ronin/Trooper fanfic. Your descriptions at the chaotic scenes, particularly where Shin was concern, was positively uplifting and mind enhancing. I would love to read more of this, should you feel or desire to continue this.

Okay I've been a huge RW fan forever, and read this story and Secrets often just because I adore them both. I love the direction you take with these stories, and its so amazing to see such a great Ronin Warrior fic. I can't wait to see the next chapter and I will patiently wait. _ Thank you for writing such a great fan fiction.

Another amazing chapter. I can't really pick a favorite part since I loved the entire thing. Very well written, as always. The interaction between Anubis ans Shin inside Shin's psyche was fantastic. It gave me some ideas for my story. I did notice a couple things. First, "Though he wouldn't say it, not even in conscious thought, his emotions bled it through their bond before he could stop it". There is an extra it in "emotions bled it through..". The second is when Anubis says "I can't hunt this source down, nor can I shield you from it further"...when he comes out of Shin's psyche he says to Naaza "I left his mind and spirit shrouded in the depths of my darkness, where he willingly sleeps. The source of these fits will not find him." Isn't Shin being shrouded in Anubis's darkness the same as Anubis shielding Shin from the source of his pain? I look forward (patiently) to what comes next.

Another very well written chapter-creative, descriptive and thoughtful. I find myself needing to reread your work 2-3 times to make sure I find all the gems hidden in it. Takes a bit of work, sure, but so rewarding.

Definitely worth wait and if another chapter is months in coming, so be it. I will wait.

The more I read and reread that story, the more I long for another chapter.
I find that story amazing, and I love how much of the Masho's thoughts we get to see. Without even realizing it, they work on misconceptions about their enemies and their values... and sometimes, they're really close to the truth without even knowing it.
Little things like 'they caused more damaged than the invasion did, in the beginning', 'holding back on us' or 'first honorable battle any of them has seen through to the end' are very telling. Though the Masho don't realize it, they're in the true, but not for the reasons they think; they just don't seem to grasp that their adversaries are so young, do they? Or that they don't know bushido like the Masho do.
It'll be very interesting to see them interact with Shin once he wakes up, and I really hope to see it soon.

I am greatly enjoying this story as I did your previous story "Secrets". Both are unique looks into the Ronins and Masho and a refreshing change of pace. There are a few grammatical errors but overall the story is very well written. I am greatly looking forward to reading more of this story and hope an update is forthcoming.

Amazing, amazing, amazing, fantastic chapter. Thanks for answering my PM questions. This is my first story where the Ma'sho are main characters...and I love it. I enjoy your characterization of the Ma'sho and their relationship with each other. I can't wait to see what happens when Shin wakes up. When Shin's spirit clung to Rajura's spirit, was that because he was in pain or because he sensed a kindred spirit and a connection that he didn't have with the other Ronin's...or both. I'm intrigued by Naaza's statement that they don't know why Shin is a 'ronin'. I can't wait to see where you go with that.
