I could easily imagine the scene. It's really well written.

This has such a tender emotional feel to the whole thing and I love the way you used LBHE as an understandable catalyst for the change in their relationship. You have a real knack for conjuring up very tender visuals... could picture them standing there with the cake.

Loved this - I need to celebrate your life. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have you...

And this was very insightful and so Gibbs... He didn't dare hope that Abby had found the courage to bring up what he couldn't stop thinking about... he could never really tell if she felt the same, or if he was just seeing what he wanted to...

And this was just so sad... He'd struggled for so many years, trying to find a sense of belonging, to find someone who could fill the void inside him, knowing all along that what he was looking for was right in front of him.

Oh my... this was wonderful.

Loved this... so sweet:

"I know you don't like to celebrate your birthday, and I understand why..." she whispered next to his ear, "but I need to celebrate your life. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have you."

As much as I'd love you to continue this, it's absolutely perfect as is. You captured so much feeling from both characters, that our imaginations will continue the scene!
