Oh boy, what is Cailyn going to do? She's fallen in love with her prisoner, tsk tsk, her father and brother won't be very happy once they find this out. I doubt Cailyn will kill her toy when the time comes, I don't think she will have the heart to do it. She will probably end up killing her brother, father and most likely herself...

I was wondering if we would ever get to meet Myrina's sister! Glad she was able to save our knights, I'd be very sad if they died! Oh maybe the two sisters will end up marrying the two knights! I hope Dag's doesn't die in this fanfiction, I feel his and Tristian's death was unneeded in the movie.
So you left us a hint about the witch, so now I just have to try and figure it out before you reveal the secret! You had said the witch knows all as long as "She is with them", now that can be one of two people. It could either be Myrina, or Brianna. My money is on Brianna for a few reasons; 1. She was/is working for the witch, and brought the knights to her village which was a trap, and 2. The witch doesn't know that Myrina can turn into a human and/or be commanded to stay in a certain form. So it wouldn't make sense for Myrina to be showing the witch what is going on while she is in hawk form. You also didn't mention anything like that when she was cursed by the witch. Or maybe your even super craftier than I think and it's someone we haven't met yet, that would be quite the plot twist!

First things first, I KNEW IT! I totally knew that Brianna was in league with the witch, but the question know is WHY. Does the witch have a curse on her, is the witch blackmailing her? I know we will find out eventually, haha but I kinda want to know now.
I had wondered if Tristian could command Myrina to stay a form. If he can command her to stay human i'm guessing it would work the other way as well. I forsee Tristian using this command in the future and Myrina is NOT gonna be happy with him for using it, but we all know he'd only use it to save her/ keep her safe.
Yay for Tristian and Myrian getting some time to themselves! Vanora always knows when to push people together and when to simply leave them be. Every KA fanfic I've read the author has Vanora as the match maker! I don't know why I have such a hard time remembering that Myrian and Tristian are adults in this story and not children. Did you have a general age for Tristian? I know you said Myrina was about 19, which back then was adult and women were mothers far younger than Myrina. I think if my memory serves me correctly the average life span was 40 ish, so people were married around 14ish (if not younger)?

Whelp I was right in the assumption that something was going to happen to our Hawk friend! Those bandits would have been in for quite a surprise if Myrina had turned into a human while they were traveling to see the witch. In her weakened state she would have been an easy target for abuse from the men, and then the witch would have an easier time with Myrina.
I am not 100% convinced that Brianna isn't in league with the witch. It just seems a little strange that she was with the bandits at the same time Myrina was caught. Also given the way Brianna boldly kissed Tristan all of five mins after they met? I think she's trying to bed the nights and have them fall for her so they spill their secrets. I think during all that time she'll report back to the witch with all her findings, but feel remorse at some point because she's fallen for Lancelot (or someone)...and then the rest follows the typical plot line.

I have a sneaking suspioin that something bad is gonna happen and Tristian will not have his chance at saying sorry to Myrina.

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Myrina? She's awesome! I just love that she gets even with Lancelot and the way she gets even. I can't wait to see, err read, Lancelots face when he finds out Myrina was the hawk the entire time, and she was the one who dropped the rabbit on him.

Well Myrina had quite the first night in the castle. Oh boy! I truly snorted at Lancelot's attempt to woo Myrina into his bed, and I laughed so hard at her reply "I'll be the loudest mourner at the funeral" (or something along those lines). I don't think Lancelot has ever been shot down like that, it was AWESOME! I like how you portrayed Lancelot as quite the carer (is that even a word?) of women, even though he is a womanizer to the extreme. Well I would write more for this review, but that takes time away from reading the story ;)

Great chapter! I have never read a story where Tristan has a dog, I 3 it! I've always wondered if he would have another companion.

Amazing story so far! Your summary of this story does not do it justice, I almost didn't read this story because the summary didn't really catch my attention; however, I thought I'd take a chance on it. I am so glad I did!
