OMG. So so so so so funny!

For me this is pretty much the epitome of everything that comes with youth and growing up in a family. You hurt people; they hurt you; you make questionable decisions and mistakes that you fear will never be forgiven or forgotten. Sometimes you just feel lost. I had to sympathise especially with Gordon for getting himself into such unprecedented trouble (with a little help from a certain bear), and with Virgil for being the helpless victim of everything! Most of us were young and stupid atvsome point, or still are, in my case. I think this is my favourite one- shot just for capturing it so perfectly and still ending on a lighthearted note.

Argghh that stupid bear! I'm with Gordon, that bear is definitely more trouble than its worth. XD

This. This was just too much! lol I couldn't stop laughing throughout the whole thing but the ending... Oh, man, the ending had me literally laughing out loud which caused several people to stare at me weird. Great story, absolutely incredible!

OH MY GOODNESS! Bee you have outdone yourself and this was so worth the wait! What a fantastic story. The return of Barclay Bear!, and now I know exactly how Gordon broke Virgil's nose.
John's driving was a hoot - can you believe they put him in charge of a spaceship!

This was so fantastic I can't even begin to count off the bits I loved! I was glued to it from start to finish. All that bad luck,then finally disposing of the bear for,oh no the bear came back,all because someone forgot to remove its id before have loved to see what happened next when they all realised Barclay was back. Fantastic! Well done.

Poor, poor Gordon. I just love this story. And Poor Johnny. Guess he doesn't drive that bad anymore. :-)

Aaaaaaaaaah! First story of yours I've ever read, and man, was it amazing!

I'm not going to sit here and point out everything I adored about it, because if I'm truthful, the list is going to end up ten miles long!

Just believe me when I say that this is seriously one of the best and funniest fics that I've ever read. I was reading it on the bus home tonight, and I kept getting strange looks from fellow passengers because I was bursting into giggles.

Is there other stories that include Johnny's apparently infamous driving? It's got to be bad if even Scott can't stand it! Hahahahaha.

I love the idea of Barclay being the 'bad-luck' charm, and I had to shake my head repeatedly at Alan's complete and utter insistence that he was 'good-luck'. Haha.

Poor, poor Virgil. Personally, I think he's got the worse end of the deal; broken nose, almost-but-not-quite-failed art assessment. Gordy got it lucky just getting second on his championship.

And then there's poor Grandma and her carpet. I loved the line about Virgil being more important than the carpet, but she was upset anyway.

Gosh, I had to laugh at Virgil with his audition though; so panicked that he actually got INTO Johnny's car to avoid mortification. Go him for doing it! I know how nerve-wracking playing for judges can be!

I really enjoyed this, and when RL permits, definitely expect reviews for your other ones; I'm guessing that the reference to the other things that have befallen the Tracys have been depicted in those?

Anyway; point is, this was a brilliant 'oneshot', and I'm so glad that you posted it all in one shot. It was a great decision, and it didn't take anything from it putting it all at once. If you had done it separately I'd be bouncing up and down in my seat, wishing for another part!

THIS WAS GREAT! Throughout it all I kept recalling incidents from your other stories which made this one even more fun! John's driving and that bit from R and R ( Still one of my favorite moments! "Sorry, gun." and Scott had his eyes closed then too! HA! ) Why is it that I kept thinking that these are terrible things to happen -to Gordons race, Grandmas carpet, Johns telescope and the like, all while I was laughing out loud?! POOR GORDON. HE BROKE VIRGIL! That was classic! From Stunned Virgil and Gordy too to Alan's glee at announcing it to Jeff. Silly John. Leaving Barclay in with his clothes. He should have left him in his car so he could "Run out of gas" with Haley! But they wrapped up poor little Barclay Bear and buried him in the woods. Luck improved ( thanks to performance art! ) and life went on. Then Barclay came home. Near HALLOWEEN! No wonder Gordon screamed! Good old Burt. I can see Patch digging up our wayward bear but... Who unwrapped him? I think when the time ever comes to put Barclay Bear to rest Alan should take him back to the baseball field. I'm not entirely sure Barclay ever wanted to Leave it since Alan had to go back to get him that first day way back when. Anyway, This was such a fun story to read! Loved every bit of it! Thanks Bee!

oh wow this was brilliant. You did an amazing job and wrote everyone perfectly but poor Virgil, he really did suffer the most.

I must say that John is almost as bad as my brother Nate. No one would ever dare get in a car with him that is asking to die. I reckon he and John must have bribed their examiners hee hee.

Alan's line about whether it was John who rang the man over was hilarious too. This has gotta be one of my fave stories. You are very talented. can't wait to see what you come up with next.

What a hilarious story. There were so many fantastic parts but when they found out about Virgil's piano teacher being knocked over and Alan asking if it was John - that was priceless. A story which made me laugh a lot, thank you. Brilliantly written. More please.
