Really getting a kick out of the story so far! Nothing better than criminal investigators trying to wrap their heads around ghosts. Now, I don't know if you'll even ever see this review since it's been a couple years since the story was last updated, but if you do, a quick correction on the Esperanto: Help me should be "Helpi min" with an n, since mi is the object instead of the subject.

Oh, I personally find that this was an excellent way to not only have a smooth transition into them finding out who he really is, but display the intelligence in the NCIS team, particularly for Agent Gibbs. I mean, how could he *not* figure it out *eventually* if at all? I like it. Keep it up!

Bahahahahahahaha! This story was such a pleasure to read! It was funny, detailed, and every person was in character. The end made me snicker at them making fun of Dinozo. Though I had to wonder since the beginning... If Sam is Ziva, and McGee is Tucker, would Danny be Dinozo or Gibbs? Or maybe he's a mix between the two... Hm, oh well. This was a great read. i loved it. some of the character personalities were off but you still did a really good job at wrighting the story. you didn't try to force the characters into your version of them and stayed really close to their tv personalities. good job.

Um...for the sake of realism I'm going to assume Danny, Sam, and Tucker are minors here. They cannot legally be taken into custody to be questioned without an adult, namely their parents, present unless the parents give their consent to be questioned alone. At least i assume that last part.

I hope you got into contact with whichever parent was chaperoning them on this vacation.

I commend you on this story! I've read several DP/NCIS crossovers and it's was by far the best one, and the most believable on the circumstances. Thanks for sharing it!

Maybe for a cover they could tell the family the killer is dead? It's technically not a lie...
This would leave the option of officially closing the case while keeping it open in a more official cence. Kind of like a top secret.
As for if the family asks for details on the killer you have some options. One tell them that you have evidence of the killers death but haven't found a positive id. No registered fingerprints or DNA and a lack of ID could make this a viable lie and the family may be happy enough knowing the killer is dead. Another way is to tell the family the case has been solved but falls under national security. Problem with this choice is the family is less likely to be comforted despite the fact that it's a lot less of a lie.
Now I personally think that you ended the story well enough. These are just things I thought would make at least some sense in this story. (I don't know anything about cold cases eathrer...)
