StarlightVista chapter 6 . 11/17/2018 This story has a lot of great war scenes. Definitely worth reading even when incomplete. |
s.k.f.f.f chapter 6 . 10/16/2018 this a damn good story, though sad to read about war crimes that naturally occur, |
Burn-in-the-sun chapter 6 . 7/7/2015 This is a really great story and is extremely well written. If you ever pick it up again I would really appreciate an insight into Lelouch's mindset, preferably from his POV. See how he is dealing with the dual mindsets he acquired from the merge. Also, more CC, Kallen, and Gino would be brilliant. I loved reading this story. Thanks for posting! |
amerdism chapter 6 . 4/2/2015 Epic I hope to see more soon when's the next chapter up |
Inheritance1990 chapter 6 . 2/6/2015 I really hope this hasn't been abandoned, it is a great story and I hope for more. |
Empress of the Abyss chapter 6 . 9/14/2014 I'm really looking forward to reading more from you. I've really noticed how much your writing has improved over each chapter. I certainly hope you're not abandoning such a great, if unfinished, work of art. |
Ruinous Crow chapter 6 . 1/27/2014 This isn't bad for a first story, and especially for a 17 year old, but there are a few problems with this fic that I would like to point out. First of all, Charles Zi Britainnia's thought process. If you are validating R2 by saying that this is a time travel fic, then it should be pointed out that Charles likely loved Lelouch. He pretty much admitted to that when Lelouch asked him why he sent Lulu and Nunally to Japan, and then Lelouch realized that his father did it to get them away from VV. Of course we can't be 100% positive that this was Charles' thought process, but his actions seem to indicate so, and either way that episode showed that he didn't really believe in that Darwinism stuff he sprouted. Would he say it? Yes definitely. Would he think it? I don't think so. Second of all, the freedom of Japan. What exactly gave Lelouch the authority to free the country in the first place? As far as I can tell, he was neither a great military general or the viceroy at the time. Also, while the commoners might rejoice at his speech, the businessmen and the nobles never would. He had no real plan for HOW the profit margins would increase. Added to that, by declaring Japan a free nation, he's giving them back their military and their right to kick the Britannians out. There's no way anyone in Britannia would allow back that much control. It would have been more realistic to have simply given Area 11 an advising council made up of the Japanese, or accepting Japanese into the government. Third of all, geass. If Lelouch is on the side of the Empire this time, what is the need for him to have geass? Geass was a big help to him as Zero because he didn't have that many resources, so geass tipped the scale to his favour. As a prince of Britannia however, he would have more than enough to do the things he wanted. Added to that, geass eventually immortality unless he dies first, but if he dies he invalidates the reason he came back and if he becomes immortal who is he going to share that immortality with? CC would die and she's honestly the only reason he has to exist forever. Also, he came back to 'fix his mistakes' but if he's geassing people, then he's only making the same ones all over again except with different people. I had some serious issues with him purposefully starting a war just to gain glory. If he's not planning on remaking the world this time, then what's his justification? Zero Requiem was done because he thought he had sinned too much, and currently he is going down that exact same direction. Anyway, in the end this is your story, but I thought those might be some points you'd like to consider. |
AppoX chapter 6 . 12/13/2013 I love how you ''borrowed'' parts of Winston Churchill's ''Their Finest Hour'' speech 3. |
FinalGuardian chapter 6 . 12/12/2013 I love how you added lines from a biography/documentary from the soldiers into the story. The combat and the build-up are damn well done too. |
FinalGuardian chapter 2 . 12/11/2013 Lelouche's reaction at the end was awesome XD! |

me chapter 6 . 8/9/2013 wow, that was great. you're right, the second half of the chapter really brings it alive. I really like your plot development, and also how you keep lelouch (and others) in character while still giving him a totally different set of circumstances to work with. your world-building is also pretty good. keep it up! |
Lamon chapter 6 . 7/2/2013 Morbid as war always is. The common man will always die fighting for things he barely understand and for land he probably will never enjoy... |
