Hello again. I was wondering if you are still a part of the AC fandom. I would like to see your interpretation of the AC Desmond trilogy canon and how Alriar, Lucy, Shawn, Rebecca, William, Gavin, Maria, Ezio, Connor, and their future wives fit into this time travel story. The characterisation is really good. The story makes sense. And the interactions and chemistries are so natural. I would love to see more of this story, and I hope it isn't abandoned yet. I look forward to reading more.

Goooood, turns out I HAVEN'T left a review on this chapter. Huh.

This did will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS be my fav AC fic, by the way. No other compares to the emotion and the questions and the way things are following canon to a point but are JUST DIFFERENT ENOUGH to keep me guessing. And of course this is where things start veering off from canon. I am pretty sure Altair is going to offer to bring Desmond back with him to the past...or something. More towards the "or something" than anything else.

(Huh, wonder how Malik would react to Altair suddenly being BACK and with a shiny future tag-along...)

I am excited to see what happens next, considering the key players now on the board. ...Are you still going to kill Lucy or are you planning on letting her live?

ALSO: as far as the whole "But Altair has to go back to have a relationship with Maria and have children so that this great long line of Assassins is born and -" thing goes? THEORY! The Animus was never supposed to ACTUALLY CONNECT Desmond to his ancestor. That is not how it works. It reads genetic codes - there is no mystical hoodoo going on. So WHY did Altair notice Desmond's presence? I'm guessing there's some First Civilization bullshittery going on. The Firsts have done some timeline splicing and have things going on THEIR track. Which First, I have no idea. And until Altair shares WHY he came into the present, then nobody knows what to do about the "original timeline".

Okay, if I keep going I'll never stop - time travel fics are my crack.
