I really like this story. I like how you gave them space and time to talk with each other and how you set up what was happening next really well. The two Doctors talking about what would happen to TenToo and Rose was interesting. I love how TenToo was incensed for Rose's sake after hearing the plan. I can totally see Donna and the Doctor as siblings.

I loved this. I had just finished watching Journey's End again after a long self-imposed hiatus from watching DW, and I felt I needed a good dose of 10.2-Rose romantic FF. That brought me to you, and your suggested reading order.
Wonderful! Really nice getting the POVs of all of the companions as well as the Doctors, and what a good opportunity to do it by using their journey home. You've captured all of their speech patterns and nuances of their characters accurately. I really loved the scene with the two Doctors in the bedroom-so touching. Looking fwd to reading the rest of your series.
I do have a small objection to your user name-you couldn't possibly be the last. There's also me :)

Okay so it was suggested in an author's note of a story I finished reading to read your story Part Human but I wanted to read this first because it apparently has to do with what's going to happen in Part Human so I did. I liked it. It explained a bit more of what was going through the Doctor's mind when he decided to stick his other self with Rose in the episode Journey's End. I also liked reading what people were thinking during that time in especially when Jack, Mickey and Martha guessed the Doctor was going to screw up regarding Rose and his other self. Can't wait to start reading Part Human :D

I really feel like you filled in the gaps of what happens in Journey's End - more closure, I always felt like Journey's End needed a little more. You've really captured these character relationships perfectly - how both Doctors feel about Rose, how the Doctor feels about Donna, the beginnings of MickeyMartha, .etc.

Wow. Just wow. That was just about perfect. I enjoyed each and every word (even the a's, its, etc) but these two passages were the best:

/It smacked of deciding to do what he wanted, regardless of right or wrong, with no thought to possible consequences. Almost a Time Lord Victorious type of mentality. And what frightened him was that if it was present in his other self, it was also present in him./

/The horrible irony of the situation was not lost on the Doctor. By attempting to prevent regeneration so he could stay in his current form with Rose, he had virtually assured that he'd never be with her at all./

Bravo and well done. That was just amazing.

Absolutely amazing. I could actually hear the characters speak as I read. You captured their speech patterns perfectly. The inner thoughts added depth. I even cried. Nicely done.
