Why?!

You can’t give a guy who is not even a full auror in practice the head auror post!
He ned experience in the the administrative, paper work, inner ministry working too. So he needs a least a year of turns and reports, working with prisoners, civilians, politicians. He is not prepared at all. It is stupid!

It is an exceptional situation so auror is totally normal, but not head auror. Also a head auror can’t be at Hogwarts for a year, he is needed in his office! Everyday!
Even less that his second i also in Hogwarts for a year. tonks if she had the seniority could have the head auror post until Harry is trained enough and in two years minimum after he had also his newts in order he can be head auror when he gets all that he needs!

This last chapter got me all choked up. It was a great story, though the whole Ginny stuff felt a little off, but if I explain all my thoughts on that, it will be a very long review, so I won’t.

What a wonderful story and a great ending

Addendum:

I want to state the obvious - If Ginny was “in love” with Harry Potter since she was 5 years old, then obviously she is a bit confused.

• Harry Potter is the name of the baby who was the sole known corporeal survivor of Lord Voldemort’s attack on the Potter Family in 1981, after which the feared Dark Lord was declared “dead”.

• The Press coined the moniker “The-Boy-Who-Lived” for the orphaned toddler Harry Potter in order to ramp up the mystique and sell more newspapers.

• Dumbledore immediately took custody of the 15-month-old Potter orphan and hid him away in the muggle world — not to be seen in the Magical World for ten years.

• Gossip mongers, bored housewives, unscrupulous politicians, charlatans, drunk bar flies at the Leaky Cauldron, fly-by-nite toy makers, desperate store managers, starving writers... all created small lies, colorful stories, and attractive merchandise which snowballed the reputation of the BWL for a decade — while the actual Potter child suffered starvation, deprivation, and verbal abuse forced to live in a cramped and dark boot cupboard.

Ginny Weasley — youngest of 7 and only daughter — was raised on ridiculous fables about the unbelievable heroics of the rich, cute, powerful, tragically orphaned Magical Hero of Britain, THE BWL.

Let’s state the obvious — the deluded little spoiled fangirl fell in love with the Myth not the Man.

Sadly circumstances arose in 1992-3 which just compounded her fantasies & self-delusions... the real Harry Potter (age 12) was coerced by circumstances into saving Ginny’s life (age 11) from both a ‘Monster’ a 1000-year-old Basilisk, and an “evil Villain” dark magical diary which was devouring her life force & magic through partial possession. Egads! Fact actually trumps Fantasy!

DING! DING! DING! Let’s be honest, people. Harry Potter was more worried about Hogwarts closing due to the threat of a mysterious Monster thus forcing his imminent return to abusive muggle DURS-KABAN than he was interested in helping his (only & self-proclaimed) “Best Mate” rescue Ron’s obsessed, tongue-tied, blushing, fangirl sister Ginny ... I mean “One True Love”. HA!

Curse you from the chapter where Minerva told Harry she was dying till the end of this chapter I had tears in my eyes, it is a great story though.

ok this is just overreacting. wittle Ginny boo doesn't wanna go back because she's heart broken boo fucking hoo and Ron is using her as an excuse when he's just lazy as fuck to go back to Hogwarts yeah sure blame Harry. and who the hell do they think they are? did they really think Harry won't go back if they said they wouldn't if he's there? they need to grow the fuck up they're not 12.

what's with Ron acting all high and mighty for? Ginny has the right to be mad, and i would understand it if her other brothers do too since they're more mature or her parents get mad at Harry. But i don't wanna get that treatment from Ron, an idiot who treats women like shit whoever they are friends, classmates or even those who doesn't know him. Ron is a world class brainless wanker.

Still a great story even after numerous re-reads

damnit...this made me cry. I will forever cherish this and is easily one if the best I have ever read!

very good story but one problem Andromeda is first and foremost a Black so she knows who Kreacher is Kreacher was serving the Black Family when Andromeda Bellatrix Narcissa And Sirius were kids so all of them know who kreacher is

Very nicely done, and of all your stories I have read this is the most well-developed and fully realized I've seen so far. This definitely hits my faves list, and requires my thanks for a most excellent read!
