Ironic, isn't it, when later on in the book Sirius ends up getting sucked into veil? I never liked that part of the book. I was pretty pissed at Sirius when he said it too. I wanted to strangle him. I love Remus. He certainly knows how to drive the point home. I love this fic and it will be my favorite. It's about time Sirius steps it up a notch.

Oh wow, this was beautiful. :) I always wondered what went through Sirius after he went back out of the fire in Grimmauld Place after that little talk with Harry, and I like your vision of the scene. It's sad... But practically perfect! And while this a little too short for my liking, it really works, and it /is/ really nice. Sirius and Remus seemed really in character (I'm a tad afraid to read stories sometimes for this reason alone... ;P Not everyone's the best at characterization and it isn't the easiest thing to do... But you really made it work)

Once again, I love your vision of the scene and I LOVE how you wrote this. And while I was a little disappointed by it's length... This was still really good. You managed to capture the emotion of everything that went on pretty well. Overall, I really liked this. Nice job! :)
