Amazing story; you wrote the characters so well and the story was beautiful!

Wow. This was AMAZING. I cried. More than once.

Some typos here and there, but this story was rendered so beautifully that I didn't particularly care. I mean, I had a feeling that Alfred would die, but... somehow, there was such a natural progression to their friendship and development, and there was such a beautiful ending, that I couldn't help feeling that it ended well.

Gah, I lack the words to properly express myself right now. But I love it. So much. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful, wonderful story. :)

This made me cry so fucking much I knew he was going to die. In Ireland when a person dies, they don't cry or feel sad about it. They have a party and remember them for the good times, and what they did in their life. They tell stories and the things that they did. If you remember someone for the good, and not the bad, they'll never truly be gone. I hope that Arthur lives his life for the good and pushes past the bad. He can see the good in things, and see the things that Mattie and Alfred couldn't see.

I highly doubt you still check your account anymore and I know for a fact that you haven't updated any of your fics since 2013, but this needs to be said.
If you go back to first page of reviews you will see a username Evil By Choice Not By Blood. That's me. I read this fic when it came out and it was one of the best fics I had ever read at the time. So when I found an old screen shot on my instagram I knew I had to come back here and reread this.
And I am so glad that I did.
This fic holds up through the test time. Through me reading thousands upon thousands of fics, this one still brings a tear to my eye.
Although I have graduated high school, started writing bigger and better things for myself, and stopped reading Hetalia fanfiction, this fic is still one of the best that I have ever read.
I sincerely hope you are still writing.

This story made me cry. I honestly loved it.

You are amazing. You made me tear up and full on cry and not many fics have made me do that! This was such a sad, but at the same time uplifting story. Plus, you did fone with Kiku. Its always hard to keep his accent when writing, but you totally get the gist. Again, this was awesome!

I'm crying as I type this... I always love these types of fanfictions where they are kids, and friends, rather than older and full-fledged lovers. To say the least, this is a great fanfiction! Probably one of the best, if not the best, I have read. Ugh, my feels...

Omigod this was SO good! I LOVeD ALl OF IT! And yes, it's definently attack on feels to me. It was so good! I think Arthur's toughish' personality suited him and Alfred's way to not always be sad and down was perfect! This was a great fanfic and I'm so glad I read it! It actually made me cry! XD sorry this is kind of going on and on! But anyways this is really good. I agree, I can see them as friends, lovers, or enemies. Thank you very much for this wonderful fic! I started bawling when I finished and when I tried to tell my siblings this, I started crying again. It was an amazing story, my favorite by far.
