Wow. This story had me laughing out loud so much that my mom thought something was wrong with me. The characterization of both the Doctor and Donna were spot on. Really great work there. Also loved the plot and the descriptions of the planet they're on. Please keep writing!

Oh, what a wonderful story! There were so many things that I loved:
The idea of knowledge being used as currency; the explanation of how the Doctor's mind works; the way Donna figured out what to do; and the sad foreshadowing of her own loss of memory in several different ways.
I loved the whole thing, really. Two thumbs up! Three cheers!

This is without a doubt one of the most creative DW fanfictions I have ever read. The unique system of currency, the logic behind Donna's attempts to right the situation, the seemingly insignificant detail of the clothes resurfacing in a big way - it all screams WHO and I find it a bit hard to believe you're not one of the show's writers. Donna and the Doctor are perfectly in character, and your grammar and punctuation are, as far as I could see, flawless (not that I went through it with a fine-toothed comb, mind you, but I notice things like that and nothing stuck out to me). I loved the explanation of getting to the intended destination only to find that it's not there anymore, rather than just missing it - very creative and logical. The car keys thing was just the right mix of sad and humorous, and I like that you could also interpret it as "Oh, Donna knows that Rose is back." Oh, and I really appreciate that it was totally kid-appropriate - cursing almost always lowers the quality of dialogue. It's what you say when you don't know what else to say, but you, sir/ma'am, knew what to say.

Final statement: This was brilliant (and remember what that word means, because it's thrown around quite a lot nowadays) and I was absolutely crestfallen to find that it is your only Doctor Who fic. Oh, and it deserves a lot more reviews.

I found this story through your snarky review of The Rings of What's it Called on L.J. Got to say I really enjoyed it. I do love Donna, and I think that this is very true of the interactions of both her and The Doctor during that time. I love that the memory that the thing got was where she put her keys, and that even though Rose was on it, the Doctor didn't get to see. This was very well done.

A well-written story, entertaining and fun to read! 10 out of 10 stars.

Jolly good story, old thing. Pulled off the old British-type talking with style, and no mistake. Definitely one to read and re-read, don'cha know.

Donna was spot on, and the Doctor's panic at losing a part of his mind reminded me of "The Five Doctors", where something similar seems to be happening and the Doctor goes all to pieces. Literally.

Wow, this has one of the best adventure plots I've ever read in a DW fic. I love the idea behind the Xerocleft, very creepy. Great job! Thanks for writing.
