Maybe it's just my computer or browser being weird or something, but chapters 4 and 5 on here are from your other story, The Unforseen, but based on the other reviews for the chapter, it looked like other people were reading parts that went along with this story. Just for your info, really great story beside that bit of confusion though! :)

Loved it. Especially the closure. Closure is key!

But Rhonda is full of s*** though. Rhonda was the one who fueled the Lila hate, she calls Harold fat and gross but secretly dated him, she constantly berated the ps118 kids on their appearance and social standing(example cool party), she bosses around Nadine, and bashed poor ppl. Helfa and Rhonda are equal but because Rhonda doesn't abuse ppl physically and is more attractive and rich, it's like it's acceptable.

This couldn't have turned out better! I'm going back and rereading the whole thing. All your stories are so good.

I'm glad that Helga told Rhonda what she thought of her in a mature way. Rhonda does the same bullying and name calling as Helga. She just does it in a nicer way and think she is helping someone out. Rhonda is just as mean to Nadine as Helga is to Pheobe. The only reason Rhonda goes to school with them is to flaunt around that she has more money then they do. She knows that won't fly with the rich kids. Because she know there are kids richer than her. We seen the way Rhonda acted when she thought they were broke. She couldn't take it. Helga and Arnold can start as friends and maybe oneday they can be more. But this is a good start. Please update when you can.

I LOVE THIS! For starters, not overly romantic ultimatum, or revelation of Helga to Arnold. And Arnold is handling this the best he could, he's a guy, and more to the point, he's human. So yeah, a budding friendship is a good if not a great start. And perhaps, down the road, it could develop into something more. I know you can pull this off :)

You are doing an amazing job with this story. It is very real, not overdramatic or crazy. I love each twist and turn. Very well done. Keep up the good writing.

I am a full supporter of Arnold and Helga. Helga was always my favourite character, she is passionate and a beautiful soul. It just takes some digging. I like to think that Arnold kept coming back because she was a puzzle for him to solve, a mystery. He would see her true side a couple times and wanted to see more. Plus both are what each other need, she is down to earth while he is a dreamer, she is a pessimist and he is an optimist...
Maybe after Arnold hangs around Helga more and she is on her best behaviour, he will start to come around? Just a suggestion...

I think they should get together Helga needs to work thing out with Arnold and vice versa no one can help out each other like hxa and theyre always there for each other evn if they have ups snd downs they balance each other out helga and arnold go thru so much they deserve each other lol better yet they NEED each other

At this point in your story I find it hard for both Arnold and Helga to get together. I feel like Helga would be at a breaking point because…

One) she has her supposed friends going against her for minor acts of a smart mouth.

Two) Arnold basically despises her and only seems to be trying with her because he knows she loves him.

Three) She actually put her walls down and asked for help.

Four) When she decided to move on she only found out that her bf was in on it.

Honestly Helga sounds like she needs a fresh start. She doesn't love herself. when you don't love yourself that affects everyone and everything around you. She is cruel and verbose because of that. Helga won't truly be able to love anyone until she learns to love herself. So a relationship right now, is a no.

Arnold I can understand his conflicted feelings at the beginning but he ruined it for me when he kissed Helga. Arnold isnt ready for love either at this point because he keeps blaming his feelings on Helga's confession. At this point Arnold has to question if he cares for Helga because of who she is or because he took interest after her confession?

I appreciate you asking for our opinions. Realistically they wouldn't work right now or in the near future because soul mates? Lets be honest how many people actually find theirs or even end up with them? It's just not possible and I love a bittersweet ending any day over a happy one. Closure is key!

Arnold shouldn't go to Helga. It shouldn't always go the way Helga wants it to. There hasn't really been anything on Helga/Arnold in this story, so no, the outcome of this story shouldn't be Helga and Arnold getting together.
