Coreen M chapter 1 . 3/27/2019 Thank you. |
mizwidget chapter 1 . 10/21/2014 Wonderful insights on Carter's son, Taylor, how kind and perceptive he is for a young man. His willingness to stay and converse with Harold, I see as the only way for Harold to start his healing process, to return his consciousness to the outer world. I especially enjoy how you know and show the way Southerners stay connected to their families. How Grandmothers and Aunties guide the younger generation in keeping their cultural ways. Taylor seems to be a special and powerful person in his own right. Well written and heartwarming. |
PiscesChikk chapter 1 . 5/17/2013 Out of the mouth of babes. It was very heartwarming and sweet to hear Taylor talk about his extended family and how he felt after the kidnapping. I was always curious about how he dealt with it afterwards and pity they never mentioned it on the show. I'm sure he did ask a lot of questions about John and Finch. And I'm sure there was a limit to what Carter could have told him. I liked how even though Reese and Carter weren't featured in this and it was mostly about Taylor and finch, you could still sense how much they cared about each other. i liked him resting his chin on the top of her head and i literally squeed when he came in the room to shower and got clothes out of the drawer! I'm like wow John, way to let Taylor know you keep clothes at his mother's house and most likely sleep there a lot. So I totally loved this story. Especially loved the POV. And I liked the fact that it showed some vulnerability with Finch. We're used to him always being in control, knowing just what to do, figuring out the next step, so this was a nice glimpse into the trauma he must have felt after being taken. good job! |
zeejack chapter 1 . 1/1/2013 omg, harold, you just want to hug him and just kill whoever hurt him...taylor was a godsend. he understood what harold was going thru. this was very good. made my heart hurt for harold...sigh. |
lovemboth chapter 1 . 10/7/2012 Wow! Two people who have experienced abrupt separation-one young, one older; and the younger helping to heal the older. Lovely, healing story. |
pocketpets chapter 1 . 8/17/2012 Quality as always. I love your stuff, and I am glad that you thought to share your profile and philosophy with us. I especially love Carter/Reese plotlines. I really wouldn't want them to "ship" on the series, that's why I'm glad I discovered your fanfiction. Until the program begins its second season, it's been really satisfying to read your fiction. Please don't be discouraged by others' remarks. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and so are you. If they decide not to read your fiction anymore, that's their right and their loss. |
SchaeferTXTX chapter 1 . 8/9/2012 Your images while Taylor was with his Aunts are so vivid! I was pulled right back to summers I spent in Missouri with my grandparents and aunts and could visualize everything. He's lucky that he missed out on working in the garden too lol. Great addition to your story family. |
kgreen9748 chapter 1 . 8/7/2012 This was good very good. And perhaps it continues? Will we get to see Grace? |
Lilly B chapter 1 . 8/6/2012 Great job on the story! Beautifully written! |
farmgirl1964 chapter 1 . 8/6/2012 Cool! I love that you brought Taylor into the picture. Great job! Hope you write more! You know, when the second season starts, I hope their story works as well as yours - or some of the others the other fic writers have done. It would be wicked if they mess it up. I explained the fanfic world to my daughter the other night. She's 12 and into writing her own stories. She laughed really hard when I told her that some of the stories here are better than what the TV writers come up with. Thanks for sharing! |
DawnCandace chapter 1 . 8/6/2012 This was wonderful. It was such a nice look at all of these characters and how they come to form a community-a family of sorts. |
