I can really sympathize with Lestrade here, I have a phobia of lifts. I hate having to go in them, you have to practically force me in. I had to go in three to get to the top of the Empire State Building. I was nearly sobbing.

You've captured the feeling of the phobia very well, and both our stories have the same ending. I too went down the steps. All 101 floors of them.
