Reviews for Voice Children |

![]() ![]() ![]() In the fourth paragraph, you misspelled 'ehr' (her). -TheMistyLion |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow these are all really good but could you maybe do one for Oliver? Just by appearance alone he already looks like a bit of a tragic character so I think he'd work well in Something like this :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I thought it was "Jodie" last chapter, not "Jody". Oh well. Out of curiosity, I wouldn't mind knowing who this "Jodie" was either. I guess there are some things the world was not meant to know. Again, interesting concept. Makes me wonder if the providers listen to their Vocaloid counterparts. I can imagine it might be a little weird. Short but sweet. I enjoyed this quick-read series. Gave me some things to think about. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() That's definitely something to mull over. Glad you're including people like Sweet Ann and Miriam. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Don't worry, Ring. According to some parts of the fandom apparently EVERYONE is ripped off of Miku. Seriously. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Creepy. Though I suppose the voice providers have the right to remain anonymous if they wish. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh man, I can't even at this point. Darnit, Ten-Faced don't do this to me. ;w; |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loving the concept. Absolutely brilliant so far. It's making me think. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This gives me some kind of quiet saddness that I can't really explain. They all sort of seem like orphaned children, trying to hunt down their birth parents... |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really enjoyed it quite a bit. You're so talented at conveying so much emotion with very few words. I'm really rather impressed! Favorite part would definitely have to be the repetition of "Jody" at the beginning and the end; it creates a nice impact and gives it a circular feeling. It's as if Sweet Ann just keeps going through this thought process over and over again with no hope of escape. Keep up the great work Ten-Ten. Can't wait to read another one of these wonderful drabbles! |
![]() ![]() ![]() You have told us before on your profile. XDD This is... second-person...? But (I think) the other chapters are first person. I don't think second-person is allowed in FFnet, actually. But..! Onto the story. I did little to no research on Sweet Ann, really, so I can't provide any useful information about her. She's a pretty nice Vocaloid, although I rarely listen to her sing. Her design is... I like her design. Everybody likes to bash her, though. There's really no reason why. Maybe Sweet Ann's voice provider was just afraid of publicity - too much publicity. It happens. Publicity ruins people. I know I would have shied away from the media too. Their prying eyes are a little too creepy. Just one thing to conclude the review - the second-person. otherwise, this chapter is quite exquisite! I'm very glad you've gotten to your Vocaloid fanfictions C: |
![]() ![]() ![]() I know you can't sing. I've even heard you. You raise an excellent point, MAH BOI. Who the hell was Jody anyway? Why can't we know? At least tell us if she actually is Aussie, then we might have a claim to fame. Y'know? Maybe European singers are generally more shy, or maybe they just hired fairly amateur or cheap-paying singers. Cheapskate British people. And while I'm on a tangent, how come Clara sounds nowhere near as good as Bruno? I mean, like the difference between Cul and Ia. Really. An with that, the moon! See ya! Bai! |
![]() ![]() Really, really touching... I hope you write more soon! %3Pr |
![]() ![]() ![]() Me neither. Have any Vocaloids installed into my computer, I mean. I wish I thought of this. You're good at this. You should become a beta reader. Or a teacher. Humor/angst still, eh? Will work on how I write like that. |
![]() ![]() Wasn't Miriam's voice provider the one who was a bit hesitant to lend her voice to the program, but ended up doing so anyway? Then she said something about "there's no stopping progress" or something to that effect. I always see that piece of info whenever I read a Vocaloid-related news article... This chapter was good anyway. Miriam and her anxieties... |
