Nice chapter. But I noticed a mistake, you labeled Squirtle as a Grass/Poison type.

Also, if you are going to make the movies canon, then I suggest that after Pokemon Heroes, Latias comes with Ash on his journey. Latias was originally going to come with Ash in the movie, but the Anime does not mention the Movies, and Latias wouldn't appear. But this is a smarter Ash we're talking about.

so you had him waste a master ball on a pokemon that already wanted to be caught and you say this is a smarter ash please he is more naive if thats the case.

I love your story so far man so keep the good work.
Also, I vote that you keep Pikachu the way he is because what's the use for power if you can't hit your opponent and you lose the effectiveness of one of your best attacks.

So obviously Ash is at some point going to find and capture this "Swampert of Sinnoh's Great Marsh". It seems too...folklore, to just be a throwaway reference.

So I'm happy about picking Entei as his starter but what's with the "normal" captures? Weedle when he has a Buterfree? Spearow when he has a Pidgeoto? That's kinda ruin the whole legendary starter.
What's up with all these OC suddenly? I just don't see your interest in writing this story anymore. We know what those pokemon are, no need to copy the entire bulbapedia here.
I apologize for ranting but I'm just quite disappointed. Not because you didn't have time to update but because you just needed to update and delivered something lacking.

-_- not really happy about Misty getting Gyarados she better repay him, I could tell it was going to happen when you made her start pouring water on him but I still had some hope, Ash just gifting away a powerful Pokemon I know it's not likely but don't make Ash as stupid as he is in the anime, that was a pretty stupid decision. Now she's probably going to use his own caught Gyarados against him when they battle for the gym badge, if he somehow loses because of that. I might actually feel sick
