Guest chapter 3 . 9/6/2017 I completely agree with Chaos Productions: this is one of the best romances I have ever read! Literally novelist skill-level and it's disappointing that you haven't graced the world with more of your work. I can happily say that you accomplished what you set out to do in the first chapter and that this doesn't even need a fourth one to finish. I can only hope and pray that more works are yet to come. |
Fredrickson the 96th chapter 3 . 5/25/2017 Looks like there isn't going to be a 4th chapter after all? I would love to read it, but oh well... Really good job up until now, though! Please keep up the good work! :) |
Enthusiast chapter 3 . 9/21/2016 It's funny how things work. I opened this story with no hopes whatsoever, having already dissected most of the Fate/Stay Night archive in search of good Arturia/Shirou "just because". The odd "Saber stays but no one knows why" sounded so cliché but at the same time so honest to itself that I gave in. I was ready to close this and search further. However, as I read the first paragraph, I noticed the error of my ways. This isn't just any story, no. In fact I'd say this one is among the best pieces of Fate Fanfiction I've seen to this day. Servant Alchemist was capable of portraying the relationship between Arturia and Shirou even better than our cannon sources (yes, by that I include the VN). I'm actually hurt by the fact I liked it so much, as now I feel I have nothing else to read. Here's hoping you will come back, Alchemist. |
Delca chapter 3 . 8/26/2016 This is perhaps the best story to properly describe Shirou and Arturia's relationship. It feels like I've sunk into the story. This is arguably better than the original VN itself... Thank you, very very much... |
b chapter 3 . 7/23/2015 Well I'm blown away by this. You managed to portray Shirou and Arturia in a way perfectly coherent with their portrayal in the canon material, while extending their relationship to its natural, physical and emotional conclusion, in a way the anime or even the VN doesn't manage to accomplish. Thanks. |
Ascherit chapter 3 . 1/29/2015 That was absolutely brilliant. You meshed a good story with mature lemons very well. Though it seems you have abandoned the story i really hope i can see you post the final chapter of this wonderful series. Hopefully UBW brings you back here D: I'm glad I took the time to read this story. Thanks! |
TearfulFriend18 chapter 3 . 2/5/2014 Realistic, sweet, well written, and very sexy. This is the best lemon I've seen on... Hell the whole Anime/Manga category on this site. Excellent job, I hope we get a fluffy epilogue soon . |
Sac for Caius chapter 3 . 8/7/2013 Amazing story, please continue! : ) |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/5/2013 Add chapter 4 |
himeka1010 chapter 1 . 2/18/2013 an exquisite gem of FF, your sophisticated way of telling the character's inner thoughts magically swept my heart away into a whole different level of "dragging-readers-into-the-story-mood", analogy speaking, it has strange charm that enchanted me to pour my tears like a flood which is rare by itself since there are only few stories, countable with my fingers hand, that could bring my emotion out. In accordance, I really hope this FF won't die, and I whole-heartedly wish you to continue writing the next chapter. |
BukkakeNoJutsu chapter 3 . 12/29/2012 This is really well done. Classy too. I look forward to more. |
NobleFlare chapter 1 . 12/7/2012 Wow. That was way better than I expected, job well done sir. I must say it was a very nice change of pace from the other stories. |
I'MNOTCRAZY1 chapter 3 . 11/13/2012 I feel like this is fine for just WAFF, but is sorely lacking in what makes the Nasuverse so fantastic. It's the combination of the fighting with the deep character interaction and development brought on by both in tandem that makes F/SN so great. This story seems like it's rather stagnant. Arthuria's "permanence in [the] world [coming] into question" is just going to add drama. A good story can't run on just WAFF and drama. There has to be an antagonist, or at the very least a clear goal and an obstacle in the way of reaching that goal. |
I'MNOTCRAZY1 chapter 1 . 11/13/2012 Watching Fate/Stay Night? You're doing it wrong. Go play the VN. It's way better than the anime version, including the Unlimited Blade Works movie. As you've only watched it, you've also missed out on the third route, Heaven's Feel, which hasn't been animated for various reasons. |
Chaos Productions chapter 3 . 11/2/2012 Every so often, would-be critics on this site, much like I, require a break. A slight lapse in the norm of reading, dissecting, and writing a review long enough to pose as a Gospel of the New Testament. "This is right, this is wrong, this is good, this is bad" - Quite honestly, such a routine has always kept me happy, but every once and again it's absolutely joyous to just sit back and feed my imagination with lucid descriptions and vivid scenes. And you, my friend, have granted me such a marvel here. :) Only recently I picked up Fate/Stay Night for the first time in my life, and it came as quite a shock to me when I nearly - NEARLY - devolved into the same kind rabid, bloodthirsty fanboys you'd normally find desecrating forums and pissing on the rules of common sense by using ALL CAPS and replacing letters with numbers and using abbreviations that shake even the more dim-witted people's faith in humanity. Even having only played the Fate route - which, might I add, (and excuse my rancid vocabulary) has an ending that was about as satisfying as watching shit fester - I slowly came to realize that Shirou x Saber has become an overnight OTP for me. So, naturally, I set out to quench the thirst of the soul-rending beast that had hatched within me, hoping to find enough heartwarming/cute/adorable/smutty/call-it-what-you-will content to satisfy the immense hunger projected by the hope of actually finding a happy ending to focus on. Well, my good masterful author, I had silently begged upon finishing the Fate route, and after reading this, I can say with all confidence: This one story alone has left me sated; I've eaten my fill, let off a few soft belches and am now sitting with that same sense of satisfaction you'd feel after eating a five-star meal, or after slamming the door in the face of a bunch of antsy Jehovah's witnesses after happily lying about being a pastor at the local Catholic church. To summarize the above-shown mess of words and metaphorgotten metaphors, my good author, I think that this story is one in a million. I am truly at a loss for words to see that this fic's review count is not a three-digit number - it is, for want of a better word, absolutely perfect, in my opinion - and what with me being a cynical, jaded, sarcastic, Grammar-Nazi-like borderline misanthropist, that says a lot. The pacing of the story itself is brilliant - not too fast, not too slow; it doesn't rush at the mandatory helpings of sex and smut, but it sure doesn't take forever to reach it either. The entire story as a whole flows brilliantly - it's as though I'm reading a different. masterfully written take on FSN without the static battle scenes and out-of-nowhere doses of well-drawn porn. The characterization you've served up in this story is something that had me gushi-Ahem, I mean smiling contentedly in a totally manly and non-effeminate way (not gay!). Once again I find myself at a loss for words, and I the closest I can come to worthy praise of your depiction of the characters in this story is "beautiful". The interaction between Shirou and Saber is of the sort that would grip fans of the pairing around the scrotu-I mean throat, and simply does not let go until even the manliest of readers is feeling all bubbly and happy inside. It is not every day a story renders me speechless, dear author. I daresay it's only happened three or four times during my stay here. But I am proud to say that this is one of those tales - a fanfic that stands testament to the capabilities of the authors on this site, and a story that takes the reader on a fantastic ride. I do not regret clicking the link to this story - it was a wonderful read, and one I am certainly coming back to read again and again and again. I sincerely hope this chapter is not the last in this story - just as I sincerely hope to see more stories from you in the future :) I daresay, if they are of the same quality as this one I will read them all frivolously. I will read them at such a constant rate my future children's children will need eye-drops - and then I'll keep reading :D Until then, I bid you farewell, and once again, I thank you for this marvelous story. All the best, -Chaos |
